Yeah I have to turn that siren on the car so folks clear the way for me otherwise, I'm hitting everything moving. I killed someone by clipping a mailbox and sent it flying thru the air and it took out a pedestrian. But my handles on all GTA games is horrible no matter what car I'm driving. Too focused on getting to the location I guess.

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Finally got the game today and so far it's been pretty fun. I don't know what it is, but the city seems weird to me. I'm enjoying the movie in a game aspect but it's feeling somewhat repetitive with the cases (I'm up to 7).
I've noticed interrogations go easier once I have all my evidence gathered up. I screwed myself a couple times because I questioned someone before collecting evidence that would have clearly pointed to them lying. Also good to know other people are sucking at interrogation. I'm getting better but I've had some brutal ones. I wanna keep playing the game but stupid work has to get in the way.Comment

Case 12 help:Did the same thing, while it would be cool to have it off-I know I would get frustrated.
Also, I think I am getting better on asking questions and guessing if they are telling the truth or not...Went 9/14 last time haha
One thing that did annoy me though about the 9/14 case (Click if you have reached case 12, the white shoe or w/e)
SpoilerThe case notes told me to question all witnesses including the cab driver...Funny thing is, I went to the location of the Cab driver and nothing was prompted. I ran around that whole damn block and couldn't find what to do!
SpoilerThe cab is not on the specific area. You got to drive around the area looking for the cab. The police will radio it's new location if it gets put of that area.

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
I am getting that sense as well. The flow of the game feels a bit choppy to me. I don't like how each case needs its own title, break in the action, etc. I would have liked more of the sandbox flow like in RDR.Finally got the game today and so far it's been pretty fun. For me this game feels like the individual parts are better than the whole. The faces are amazing and the city is a wonder to look at. However, I don't feel immersed like I did in Red Dead. I have read some people point out that it's more adventure game than sandbox, but to me it feels more like it can't make up it's mind.DON'T PANICComment

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Yeah, I think Cole Phelps is responsible for 25% of all the gunshot deaths in the city. The one thing I don't like up to this point is that the street crimes (or at least the ones I've played) are all shootouts that end with the criminals dying. I was hoping there was going to be some more variety or something.
They are a nice change of pace from just solving cases though.
I turned off the music/rumble cues and started over from the beginning. I'm actually enjoying the game quite a bit more.Comment

There's been a dash of variety with the street crimes. I like doing a couple of them before going to the case's crime scene, then I get my detective on.

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Noles,Thanks alot for everyone thoughts. You know my oldest son who is 8, really enjoyed RDR but the ending of the game really bothered him. So I will
definitely only play this game if they are in school or when they go to bed.
You know it's funny, I hardly ever let them play my M rated games because of obvious reasons. Well it's time to play this great game!!
I haven't bought any M games because of my kids but I couldn't pass this up. As others have said, up until now it is mostly the language from what I have seen but i would assming homicide gets works. I just started traffic and so far it mostly the language.Comment

Yeah, you probably don't want your kids watching any of the homicide cases, at the very least.Rose City 'Til I Die

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Just a heads up...(Spoiler includes what the cases include that might not be appropriate for little kids)
SpoilerEventually you are going to be dealing with cases of naked dead women. Just wanted to throw that out thereComment

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
OK... so I got through case 11 before I decided to call it quits for the night.
I don't know if this is a spoiler per se but I guess it could be if my theory is correct. But, I swear...Spoilerthe convictions im getting in homicide just are not right. Some of these people make no sense. There was one where I swore it was not the person I got in the end. So it has to be something like it is one killer and he is framing all of these people. Im sure it will make more sense later on, just my thoughts thus far.Comment
