Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
I figured, thanks. Looking forward to having different options and using my brain a bit more...Glad there'll be more spots to visit and more of an option (ie. if someone at C gives me info for someone at B then I can go back to B and talk to them again, etc)Yes. Once you get to homicide the cases get more involved and you have a bit more open path to finding the answers. For instance - you might go from Place A, to B, to, C, to D, but I went from A to C to D and missed an entire little section of info but still got a confession. If that makes sense.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

You're right, you'll need your SYWR card. Once they ring up L.A. Noire and the second game of $19.99 or less, that one should reduce to $0 and you should also receive a coupon for $20 in addition to the free game.A negative mind will never give you a positive life.

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Those comments made me laugh. Some guy was complaining about this being left off the disk so they could make money. Did he forget the game is 3 disks?! He also pointed out it takes 2-3 weeks for this to be approved by Microsoft and Sony, but I guess he also forgot they could have been working on it the couple of weeks this game was gold, but not out.
Oh well, I can't wait until that is out for everyone. We needs all the DLC we can get, this game is just too much fun“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
I am glad they are issuing some cases. I hope they do a release like Red Dead did that continues on a different story and adds some desks.
I am all for supporting great games and will support developers that push the envelope with their games.Comment

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
click on case tracker...bring up the case...at the top, with the case name, and to the left is a shield or a stamp that tells you how many stars you got. They don't start rating you until you get to traffic. I have only done one case....it says I got 4 stars.NCAA: Pitt, Arkansas State

I've done 8 cases so far and they flew by. I think I'm gonna try to do a case per day to stretch this game out a bit.Comment

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
ok i just finished the case of "THE FALLEN IDOL". wow. i have quite a few questions
Spoilerthe story thats plays everytime u look at a newspaper....
whats supposed to be the issue with the doctor? it seems like he is drugging patients with crack and calling it a treatment. is that the case? because then that same doctor is seen in the dressing at the end of the case.
or whats with the other guy, i think his name is Kelso, meeting up the drug dealer? whats that all about?
the flashbacks just have me kinda confused. lol"on hoping there is a PSN flash sale before Valentine's Day"
I'm sure there's plenty of prostitutes you could pay if you really want vd.Man there are no flashers... now what are we going to do for vd
Depends on what area of a hooker you would use to redeem them.yea but will they take psn cards

I'm that's all part of the main story that is going on behind the scenes as you advance up the chain. You'll learn more, and become more involved, as the game progresses.ok i just finished the case of "THE FALLEN IDOL". wow. i have quite a few questions

the flashbacks just have me kinda confused. lolSpoilerYou must've missed some of the papers. Kelso has PTSD from the war and went to the doctor to see if it could be cured. The doctor agreed they'd work together and it's showing this side story. I assume it ties in at some point but I'm only a little ahead of you so don't nkow for sure.
If you'd like to solve all the street crimes...(spoiler for one of the first cases and a street crime)
Spoilerin the first real case let that guy go when you get the option because he comes back in a street crime later.Comment

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
I just checked out my case tracker in the social club. Looks like I need to keep my driving in check. I think it's the only thing keeping me from 5 star rating on a few of my cases.
The checklist feature on there is going to be SO helpfull when trying to platinum this game. Shows all the landmarks you found/haven't found, all the street crimes finished/not, etc.Oakland Athletics San Jose Sharks

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Easily GOTY to this point....A LOT of stiff competition come Fall and the holiday season though.
Game is everything I expected and more so far...just so refreshing to play a different sort of game, have it work flawlessly, and be so immersed and have so much fun playing it.
