Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
SpoilerWow you got demoted?! I let the boxer go on the lam and my partner got pissed for me doing it but he played along when the Vice squad captain came and asked about the case. So what happened when you got demoted?Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Am I the only one that thinks every time you call that lady at dispatch, she finds things a little bit too damn fast ?
I wasn't aware google search existed in the 1940s.
And I would like to go on record saying I hate the chase scenes, both the one in car and on foot. It is a tad bit unrealistic how you can't make the car you chasing spin out.
Also I don't like the fact I can't shoot people in the leg that I am chasing.Comment

I've been able to push the cars into the street thus being unable to drive away. I do agree with you that it's frustrating how the partner(s) can't seem to shoot out the tires.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Yeah, I think only my homicide partner was able to shoot out the tires once. But he was the only one. I do remember one time I rammed the car from the side and some how I flattened all 4 of my tires. I was dead in the water and my partner yelled at me saying what did you do Phelps ?
I laughed so hard.....I was like wow the car I was chasing didn't get a flat tire, but I hit his car and all 4 of my tires got flat.Comment

Yup the right/left meaning is reversed.
Papers and flashbacks.Thoughts after Manifest Destiny case
SpoilerI was really thrown here, and not in a good way. We have a barely mentioned wife, Cole apparently cheats on his wife...none of it makes sense with what we know of Cole's character (by the book to a fault). It might have helped if they showed Cole's dysfunction with his wife, or some meaningful connection with Elsa. As it stands, Cole's wife is mentioned once? Elsa was met briefly, then we see Cole go to the club (though it's insinuated he was a regular), she is interviewed for a Vice case then Cole tails her and then goes to her apartment to "do the deed" apparently? Am I the only one missing something here?
SpoilerIt's part of the story.Comment

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
SpoilerPhelps' constant bad orders and strategies during the war testify to his character and paper #7 or #8 shows Roy setting him up and threatening to expose the affair. Roy was also outside of the apartment when Phelps was in there with Elsa.Comment

Agree...I went so far as to not use OS Real Time or Tapatalk until after I beat the game (neither one hides spoilers properly).Comment

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Well some people may want to click a spoiler if they are certain they finished up that case. Others could always decide to insert the title of the case then add the spoiler rather than posting nothing but the spoiler button.Comment
