How many of you guys turned off the vibration whenever you walk over a clue? I found that that makes the investigation part a lot cooler because there's a chance you'll walk over something without realizing it (I still leave the music on though so I don't end up walking around for a half hour after I had actually found everything.

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
did u have to go into Free Roam to find the Reels?<table><tbody><tr><th colspan="3">Game Completion</th></tr> <tr class="alt"> <td class="col1">Story Cases Complete</td> <td class="col2">21 / 21</td> </tr> <tr> <td class="col1">Street Crimes Complete</td> <td class="col2">40 / 40</td> </tr> <tr class="alt"> <td class="col1">Landmarks Discovered</td> <td class="col2">30 / 30</td> </tr> <tr> <td class="col1">Film Reels</td> <td class="col2">50 / 50</td> </tr> <tr class="alt"> <td class="col1">Vehicles Types Driven</td> <td class="col2">87 / 95</td> </tr> <tr> <td class="col1">Newspapers Viewed</td> <td class="col2">13 / 13</td> </tr> <tr class="alt"> <td class="col1">Game Completion</td> <td class="col2">98.7%
</td></tr></tbody></table>
i really really hope they release both of those desks as DLC.Another thing I found interesting and I believe it was already mentioned in this thread (Team Bondi/Rockstar hinting at adding whole new crime desks as DLC). Specifically the ones they wanted to get in but left out (Fraud/Burglary).
Well, you'll see Burglary and Fraud (Bunco) listed on the LAPD Telephone Directory sign right next to the phone at the Station.
GTA 5!?I love the detective work and all, and I hope more cases with detectives come out. But I pray that Rockstar releases a whole different game dynamic using this game map and the technology. I dont just want to solve crimes as a detective in 1947 Los Angeles. I want to be part of the dirty world as well."on hoping there is a PSN flash sale before Valentine's Day"
I'm sure there's plenty of prostitutes you could pay if you really want vd.Man there are no flashers... now what are we going to do for vd
Depends on what area of a hooker you would use to redeem them.yea but will they take psn cards

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
The Set-Up might be my least favorite case so farSpoilerThe Catacombs are sure as hell creepy!
I'm now on The Set-Up
SpoilerI stopped playing at the hotel Candy Edwards is staying at. I have real high hopes for this case so I hope they don't let me down. I love th real world touch so far in Vice what with the tenuous connection to Bugsy Siegel with that Cohen guy.
SpoilerThere was little detective work with lengthy, boring, following sequences. The story itself was rather straightforward as well. I didn't like the ending either, I get why Cole let the boxer go, but I felt that he should have had the boxer give the partner the $50 he lost.Comment

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Just finished Vice...
SpoilerKind of an odd twist at the end of Vice. Does anyone else think that Phelps really didn't cheat on his wife and it's just Earle being a crooked bastard to get himself ahead in the Department? Is he still upset about the $50 he lost? WTF? That's the impression I got after reading the Newspaper in the alley.
I only say this because there is never any real evidence of what he was doing in her apartment. All they show is Cole entering her apartment on a couple of occasions. Maybe he's getting information?
Something doesn't seem right to me... I guess I'll find out tomorrow when I finish up Arson.

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
I found a few during story casesso you can get them during story cases, but they're super out of the way and it's not likely you'll find them in the regular story.Spoilerincluding one at the final case in the houseSpoilerwhere the origami isRose City 'Til I Die

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Wow, what a game. I'm not the greatest at it but I'm loving every moment so far. Facial graphics have got got be the best I've ever seen and I hope other games start using his technology.
There are a couple of things I would have liked. I wish we had the ability to be a passenger without skipping to the destination, and a first person view. Other than that though, probably game of the year for me, so far.Comment

Felt the exact same way, though it would be somewhat interesting, then it turned into crap really quickly. The Set-Up might be my least favorite case so far
