Yeah, it's no COD4 but it's a nice change of pace. I played some more this morning and I think it's a great game.

One word of caution to all, spawn killing will happen I can't say that will be the case on every map but I've played a few where randoms online are are spawn camping like a mofo !!! But this all depends on what game type you're playing as well. In Team Deathmatch, it's pretty much a certainty that you will get spawn camped by the AHOLES online!!! For the most part, when we played the first Vegas, it was always objective based games which were largely OS exclusive. Objective games by default are not prone to spawn killing by the other team.....THANK GOD !!!

Have you got some OS games in yet Hoos? how are the maps and gametypes? please tell me ranking up in private games are possible, this is one reason why id hate to play with randoms.

Picked up my copy at Game Stop, but not going to open it yet...waiting for some more impressions. Does the pace feel alot slower than COD Dook? what is not making you enjoy the game?

I would say that the game pace is on par with COD4 and on some maps, it makes COD4 look like a walk in the park All depends on the map which was also the case with COD4

Have you got some OS games in yet Hoos? how are the maps and gametypes? please tell me ranking up in private games are possible, this is one reason why id hate to play with randoms.

I don't think ranking in private matches is possible but I am not 100% sure. However, you can rank up in campaign, terrorist hunt games. Single or co-op.

As far as spawn camping... yeah I respawned and died right away as there was a guy right behind me. Fun.

I don't think ranking in private matches is possible but I am not 100% sure. However, you can rank up in campaign, terrorist hunt games. Single or co-op.

I'm pretty sure that ranking up in private matches was in the game last year, so maybe it's possible this year to. Althought I'm not 100% sure about last year's game. We played alot of "private" OS matches last year and I think I recall ranking up during those matches. Otherwise, it would have taken me a lot longer to achieve the Elite status because the majority of my gaming on Vegas 1 was with the OS group. Doe snayone else recall ??

Absolutely UNTRUE !!

The host may have that option, but more than likely someone who complained about that was playing Last Man Standing where you only get the one life. That's available in both Team and single player (every man for himself) modes.

Nope, no OS games yet. I was the only one from OS online last night. Well, I should say "my friends list", not OS as a whole....LOL!!!

Pretty sure that we ranked up in the first Vegas while playing in private OS matches.

You were able to rank up in Private matches last year..

I thought so........we spent countless hours playing last year and for me to get to the Elite Status as quickly as I did, we must have been ranking up all along. Not alot of random games for me in Vegas 1 until the OS crowd started dying out some.

The maps are awesome IMO !!! I only played Deathmatch and Team Deatmatch last night but the other game types is what we played exclusively in the first Vegas. Pretty much kills the idea of spawn camping and make it more strategic.

You wont be sorry on your decision to open the game up. Just do yourself a favor and try not to compare it to COD4. It's a different game altogether!!! For me, it's a nice change of pace
