Is there a place where you can get buy weapons upgrades like silencers? I can't for the life of me figure out where.

From what I can tell the Chinese in the game are still able to say full words instead of trying to say specifics and having it come out as pacifics, but I'll leave it be before we break the TOS.

Can anyone give me a little advice/direction please???? At what point will I be able to upgrade? I'm currently looking for hostages/looking for the Typhoon at the plant. Just want to make sure I'm doing everything somewhat right.

Also can someone give me a little advice on hacking? Thanks in advance.

You get a Piraxis (upgrade) point at every 5000 experience, if you can find them in the levels, and every limb clinic has two you can by for 5,000 credits.

As far as hacking, take your time to plan out your attack. Use nukes for high risk nodes. fortify buys you a bit of time at the cost of having a chance at setting off the sub routine Finding those nodes that look like gears can either provide spam (bogs down the system) or lower the levels of other nodes. Also, don't get greedy if you don't have the time to go after the cubes and their extra goods.

I just think the issue is being overblown. Talk should be kept on the game itself, not whether their choice of voice actors and how their lines are read/said has racism.

You can upgrade your AUGs as soon as you have praxis points available. As for hacking, just look at the hacking 'web' and layout your strategy. Lower numbered nodes are easier to capture, you can hack multiple nodes simultaneously and learn when to use a 'Stop! Worm' and when to use 'Nukes'. I only use nukes on high-numbered nodes and when I'm still far away from the ending node (the blue ones). The red node can be captured if it's bi-directional, instantly completing the hack and netting you whatever is inside the data nodes.

It's not a huge issue, nobody is saying we need to start protesting Square Enix, it's just disappointing to see such craracaturistic portrayals these days. It's not so much as to make you ask if the game was made by klansmen, but it's enough to make you uncomfortable with the characterization.

                  Re: Deus EX 3 Discussion

Does anyone have any advice for a newbie to the whole stealth genre? I really never played metal gear solid and played a few levels of splinter cell but I gave up because I was horrible at it, however, this game is just too good to give up on and I'm looking for some tips. I've grabbed a few augmentation upgrades and hacking upgrades, but overall I feel like i'm under-utilizing them with poor strategy.

My main problem is navigating rooms with multiple enemies as I I feel overwhelmed and often lose my patience. I feel as if I should start a new playthrough because I went with the dart gun in the beginning and I'm thinking the stun gun might have been the better option to choose in the first mission because I'm more of an up close person. I finished the first china stage and died a ton in completing that stage as it was a lot of trial and error and a lot of attack, hide, attack, hide, which can be effective but I want to play the game with more stealth. Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. This game is awesome. Everytime I die, which is a lot, I never feel cheated, and I love the fact Jensen is not a bullet sponge.

No going back to Detroit once you leave. Probably left some XP and upgrades on the table.

I wish they would have done a better job with load times for this game. They feel long even on PC.

Load time don't feel long at all on PS3.

Am I the only one sitting on praxis points and not sure what to spend them on? Everything seems only mildly helpful.

did you get the PC patch that really speeds up the loading?

I agonized over what to spend my Praxis Points on because they each have their benefits depending on how you play. I actually found myself saving a couple in reserve in case I encountered a situation that required a specific Aug boost. I think the most I ever had at once was five.
