I think I have six now, I'll spend them soon enough. Probably should spend some on the stealth stuff, since that's mostly what I am doing. it just seems every time I look at the augs I think "that might be kind of nice sometimes, but should I really spend all those points on something I am not going to use that often?"

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I'm just out of Canada and back to Detroit, and have maxed out basically on everything i'd consider essential for a stealth playthrough. I've now added points into other things, such as moving heavy objects, punching through walls, etc. If you are trying to do anything and everything in the game, and do every side quest, you'll have enough praxis points. It also helps to look EVERYWHERE for praxis kits around levels.

I'd recommend the following with praxis points.

I played completely stealth except for parts of two different missions, because I couldn't figure out how to get through them without killing anyone.

-Hacking up to level 4 at least. There weren't too many level 5 hacks.
-Stealth Hacking when you get to harder hacks.
-Carrying Capacity upgrades and Move Heavy Objects were musts to me
-Icarus was nice because it saved time and you could get to places you couldn't otherwise.
-Punch through walls was nice for finding hidden rooms and shortcuts. But, not stealthy at all.
-Cloaking was worthless and a waste of energy.
-Dermal Armor recommended for third boss fight and beyond.
-See through walls was worthless and a waste of energy.
-Typhoon for boss fights is nice but not necessary.

did you get the PC patch that really speeds up the loading?

I have to assume so since Steam automatically patches.

I wish they would have done a better job with load times for this game. They feel long even on PC.

The patch fixed that, it barely loads 5 seconds between missions scenes..

You should have this version updated too...

Radar upgrade - went ahead an bought this one now, so 7 left
Bot hacking - as soon as I see the benefit I might buy, haven't seen one hackable yet
Hacking analyze - seems useless, I can tell odds based on node level and I don't care what is in the storage because I will get them anyway
Hacking stealth - again seems useless, I do fine through lvl 5 hacks so why waste
Extra energy cells - seems pointless to buy these when I can just eat a bar, they don't recharge on their own
Energy charge speed up - It seems they charge quick enough and bars are all over if I need a boost
Rebreather - not much gas around and seems pricy for a sprint boost
Typhoon - I originally saved praxis for this before 1st boss, but he went down easy and I don't see much need for a room clearing explosive
Aim and recoil - I am using mostly single shots from guns with laser scopes, not much need here
See through walls - Garbage
Flash suppressant - not seeing many flashes because I am doing stealthy kills
Dual takedown - might be nice, but situations to use seem limited
Icarus - might be an OK convenience, but I haven't seen any absolute need
Dermal armor - purchased lvl 3, so 6 points left, emp I only really noticed before 1st boss
Cloaking - I stay out of sight anyway and I wouldn't use due to energy cell use
Silent movement - I stay pretty quiet, but this might make things a bit quicker
Fast sprint - might be convenient during long walks

So things just seem like "meh" enhancements to me.

I have to assume so since Steam automatically patches.

As BehindShadows provided in his picture, 1.1.622 drastically cuts the loading times. Before that patch, it would take at least 15 seconds before it would load. Now, I barely wait for 5.

Perhaps it's your rig?

Icarus helps you get to a couple locations here and there that wouldn't be accessible otherwise, to pick up some extra loot. Not to mention Icarus can save you time. Silent movement is somewhat helpful for the reason that you said. Aim and recoil will be probably help against the bosses, even if doesn't help you otherwise. Cloaking isn't necessary if you stay out of sight, but you can get through lasers with it and it gives you some extra margin for error when sneaking.

I haven't noticed any places icarus was needed, but I'm only on the first mission in China so maybe I just haven't seen them yet, it does seem that if you go down with icarus there has to be a way to get back up and you could just go that way.

There's a route into the DRB hideout that would require 1. Punching thru Walls AUG and 2. Icarus.

The increased jumping AUG is fairly useful but not exactly necessary IMO.

That's just an alternate route, there are plenty of those around for different augs, but they are not really a necessity.

It's kind of moot anyway since I bought it and it's VERY nice to be able to jump down some of these places instead of climbing.

I think the Social enhancement AUG is worth it. I'm pretty sure some of the stuff you can convince people to do can't be done through a normal dialogue tree. I bought it very early on though so I may be wrong.

I love Icarus. Its isn't a necessity, but it has already saved me a lot of time and allowed me to try some stunts that would have otherwise killed me.

Haven't bought a game on the PC in a while. Is this worth it or stick with Xbox? I have a very good set up with the pc.
