Hey guys here a tip that might help you on certain situations....especially when you get stuck or think certain things can't change..

I just let a few hostages die because I didn't know what to do. Found out that some of the info I snatched off one of the guys I stealth killed had the bomb codes on him. I didn't read the info so the action to disarm the bomb never came up.

Be sure to read all your notes and messages you acquire the moment you get them. It might save lives and help you out in the long run.

Disappointing to find this in the game:

Playing this game can't be the last thing I do before going to bed. I need to create like a two hour buffer period, otherwise it's Deus Ex on the brain all night.

I know how ya feel man. Last night I played right up until I went to bed, and all I wanted to do was turn it back on and play.

This game has far surpassed my expectations. It wasn't even on my radar until last week, when I happened to read some reviews and gather more info on the game. Now, it's likely going to come down to this or Skyrim as my GOTY.

I thought no one would top the horrible voice acting of the lady you find hostage in the first mission, but then I immediately found her as soon as I walk outside into Detroit.

Played for a little over an hour and I am amazed!!! I had to pull myself away because I was getting to into the story.

Read the 1st 2 chapters of the strategy guide but still dont really understand how I unlocked/hacked my first door. Pure luck I guess. Also wondering when/how long into the game before the upgrades start becoming available???

I thought no one would top the horrible voice acting of the lady you find hostage in the first mission, but then I immediately found her as soon as I walk outside into Detroit.

Please tell me this isnt a spoiler??

Really loving how stealth plays out. Even if I can't hack every computer or door, with enough exploring I can usually find an alternate route, passwords, or talk my way past someone to get where I need to go.

Favorite silly moment so far was a side quest at the Detroit office where someone had their computer password sticky noted right next to the computer.

Loving this game so far, about 3 hours in.

Quick question, do you know if you can use your apartment as a storage area? If you drop items on the floor, will they stay there permanently? I gotta make some room in my inventory but I am worried to lose my sniper rifle if I leave it in my apartment.

I think you just have to learn how to use your tools with the first boss. Pulled it off with a combination of one frag grenade, 1 emp grenade, two concussion grenades, and bullets. I did die a few times, but he didn't seem to have too much health once I had my plan of action figured out.

Also, I'm playing on "Give Me Deus Ex"

I believe this game was made in Europe. Racism and ignorance is even worse there if you can believe that.

So, I'm pretty amazed at how smoothly this game ran on consoles. I was expecting some stuttering and slowing down, but got none through the entire playthrough.

Gets a 10/10 from me. Pretty much fantastic from start to finish (didn't like the opening attack/tutorial type thing though).

Beat the game in about 35 hours. Missed one side mission. I've never gotten through a game with this much content in so few days. Speaks to how good it was.

Things won't disappear if you leave them (at least so far, things I dropped at the beginning of the game were still there when I left Detroit), but you won't always be in Detroit. They really needed to add some actual storage space, or maybe I need to be much less possessive of guns I'm never going to use.

The Chinese people in Heng Sha have bad 'chinglish'. Do we cry out for racism and ignorance too?

The accents are a non-issue, in my opinion.
