Only before? Is it visible during the match?

Re: Street Fighter IV (360/PS3/PC)
Over the fighters, there is an icon that says "You" over your head. I'm not sure during the match, honestly. I played 18 matches last night (17-1) but I never looked up for the gamertag at the top of the screen to see if it was up there. It's not over their heads though. You can see the tag before and after the match during the "ready" screens.Comment

to Quint (and anybody else that's having lots of difficulty) check out this thread at shoryuken.com: http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=175846
It's the beginner's thread where you can ask simple questions and experts will help you out. Just make to read the first post and abide by the rules, the mod seems to have a short fuse when it comes to that stuff. Reading the thread is already helping me learn concepts I never would've thought of before.

It's got a move list for everybody as well as advice on basic and advanced techniques. There's also character rankings a terminology section.Lux y VeritasComment

Damn, this game is hot. I knew it would be, but it seems like Capcom has really made this thing replayable. I love all the stuff you can unlock while playing online. The titles and icons and all. I haven't played a ranked match yet, just player matches, but it so nice. You can even listen to your own music while playing.Comment

Re: Street Fighter IV (360/PS3/PC)
No lag unless you're dealing with somebody who only has 1 or 2 bars. 3 bars and up has been perfect, with only the most minor of hitching on 3 bars, but nothing that affected gameplay.
Even 2 bars wasn't unplayable.Comment

I broke down, picked up a Blanka pad at lunch. Best Buy had tons of them.Comment

Re: Street Fighter IV (360/PS3/PC)
I am so tempted to pick this up.
I think what I might do is grab the game and try to play with a 360 controller instead of the pad. Maybe down the road pick up an arcade stick.
How are most of you all playing, with 360 and PS3 controller or pad/arcade stick?Comment

Re: Street Fighter IV (360/PS3/PC)
Seth is way too easy. Everytime I've gone through the game I've had a harder time beating the "rival" than with him. I still haven't died going against him but it usually takes me like 10 times for me to beat the guy that's before him.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
