    Re: Street Fighter IV (360/PS3/PC)

I just got the game earlier on the 360, didn't get a new controller and it doesn't seem to affect me too much. After about an hour it felt normal, I even won my first two ranked matches in a row. I have little trouble pulling off ultra and super combos except when I try to hurry them.

I must complain a bit about the online aspect. Any time you try to find a quick match everybody has a blinking bar. When you try to create a lobby, nobody joins. When you try to custom search, it takes so long that by the time it finds a list of games none of them are joinable.

Also, newb question here, how do I unlock the other characters?

If I pick this up, do you guys recommend a fight pad? Is it really that much better?

So no one is doing the trials? I guess I am talking to myself, but YES a fight pad or stick makes a big difference. I personally would recommend the stick because you won't get a sore thumb.

I'm doing the trials. They help a lot, but some moves are mystifying and I get through some combos by chance.

Have you cleared level 4? Is it just 5 levels?

5 levels normal, 5 levels hard. I'm not having much trouble on the normals, but the hard challenges have some tough timing.

I'm going to stay in Trial Mode until I know these Boxer combos as if they were second nature. And then, I'm coming for you, Seth!!!

Id give the fightpad a 8/10 personally. My only knock is that it is so lightweight.

I have been trying them. I can't get past the 2nd level on any of them. Soem of them I can't even clear the 1st level. I suck.

Any tips for level 4? Do you just have to warp speed all of them, or is there a pause for some?

The only tips I can give for getting to level 4 is that you have to do these combos faster then you think, and I just watch the letters turn red on the left when i do these combos.

It's crazy that Madcatz didn't make enough of these. I was watching a vid on rawgameplay.com, and they were saying that on e-bay people are selling the TE Stick for up to $600. That is nuts.
