Yes! Tax return is in. Stopping by Best Buy, tonight. Can't wait to get online and get owned by guys who 'count frames' and 'dash cancel to ultra' and all that nonsense.XBL: Mean Greene

Re: Street Fighter IV (360/PS3/PC)
For anyone who is using the regular 360 controller, are you able to play halfway decent? I should probably get this from Gamefly today. I'm pretty sure I'll end up keeping the game if it's as good as everyone says, but I'm not sure I want to spend money on a controller for just one game. Especially with MLB 2K9 coming out soon.Comment

I don't know if you can really cheese in Street Fighter. If you're good, you can get out of any "cheese" attempt. Since it's a 2D fighter, you can get stuck in a corner, but there's ways out. I dunno, I can't really consider much cheese in SF.Comment

Re: Street Fighter IV (360/PS3/PC)
Answering above Qs:
--You can play with a normal controller, but if you start playing a lot and getting good, you'll want the gamepad. Whenever you pick it up, it's a worthy purchase
--Cheese isn't as prevalent in this game. Not something I'd worry about. Throws aren't superpowered and they can be countered.
--Online is running smooth as butter
--I'd say this is the new standard for fighting games. It's quick enough, has top notch gameplay, jump in/jump out arcade options, excellent graphics, revolutionary character acting during fights and is both accessible and deep at the same time. Also, the character balance might be the best ever, as the weakest character still has a fighting chance against the strongest.
Only knock: In training mode, there is no "guide" for how to do the combos, and some of them are very difficult. I can assure you that this isn't coming from a novice player. There are new timing-based combos that have difficult windows, and with no guide, it can be tough to get through the Hard Challenge modes.Comment
