Re: Street Fighter IV (360/PS3/PC)
I wouldn't mind an OS tourney.
Ranked Arcade is pretty fun stuff. Just got my 3 in a row and 5 in a row achievements. Bravo to Capcom for not breaking your streak if other people quit. I was beasting this Akuma for my fifth, and he disconnected before I could put the whammy on him. So dishonorable.
Great game though. Can't wait to play more OSers.
Akuma Protip: Ryu is a great choice to unlocking him. You can pound the CPU in the corner with fireballs for perfects, and the Ultra Fireball is pretty easy to land. Do the two ultras FIRST, so you can get them against the easiest opponents. (you have to be hit to get up your ultra meter, of course). Get the perfect in the third fight.Comment

Re: Street Fighter IV (360/PS3/PC)
man, there's nothing quite like the feeling of getting an ultra combo finish on somebody in ranked match, then seeing they had like 1000 bp. I'm sure some dude threw his controller in the wall after I got the ultra KO on him and he saw I had like 86 bp lol.Lux y VeritasComment

You're absolutely right though. Those Ultras are money. I think my fav is Rufus, because when you combo into it, the other person usually doesn't even know the round is about to end,
Ken's is great too, just because it punishes aggression. At first it bugged my that it goes STRAIGHT up in the air, but it is really excellent for punishing.Comment

How do you do the ultra combos etc? Just when the meter fills up pull off the move?Last edited by Brandwin; 02-20-2009, 11:42 AM.Comment

Look out OS...I just got my Xbox360 Fightpad today. When I get my 360 hooked up online again, I can whoop all of you.-Jay Illestrate, Emcee/Producer/Graphic Artist

Re: Street Fighter IV (360/PS3/PC)
At first, the motion of doing an ultra seems daunting (do I let the stick/pad go in between? Do I just continually roll it and pray? Do I need a tournament stick/fight pad to do this?). Just practice it training mode. You'd be surprised at how little input it takes to work and how inaccurate that input can be and have it still work.Lux y VeritasComment

Man I've been doing horrible for some reason.
Nevermind, this ****ing controller is horrible. I need to get the madcatz one cause I can't even jump the direction I want.Last edited by jmood88; 02-20-2009, 12:12 PM.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
