Methlab, everyone else, glad you dug the advice. Re: Sagat, honestly I don't know. I haven't tried much with him specifically, because he's SO damn good that I haven't had to use his whole arsenal. His specials and long distance kicks are enough to beat intermediate players. No one's gotten close enough for me to try to throw in the few times I've played him

What are you guys playing with?

I have a TE preorder that may be in next week. But the store I preordered from now has 2 SE fightsticks. Should I just grab the 2 SEs and mod them later or just wait it out for the one TE stick.

I've had the game for a couple of days and will not play it until I get arcade sticks....I hope.

I'm awful at this game. I can't win a match on the easiest difficulty. I can't pull off an ultra finisher (or whatever they're called). I can't pull off any combos. Hell, I don't even know what some of the commands mean. Why can't it just say the damn button instead of HK, blah blah and show you the icon?

How do you do an ultra move?

If you get those SEs, plan on modding. Ive heard of some serious issues with those sticks. Id hold out for the TE, based on its value alone.

Because it depends on your button config. Mine is different from someone's who is using a regular xbox pad.

Ultra combos depend on the character, who are you using?

Hey guys, tutorials are going up now. Transferring from my camera. I had to lean over to get my hands in front of the camera, so pardon the occasional hiccup, but trust me the advice is spot on.

I was not able to find a MadCatz fightpad anywhere around here. I went to Best Buy and they did not have any. I was able to pick up the Hori Fight Stick 3 for PS3 from Gamespot brand new for $30.

Good looking out with the videos.

What I would add to that too, practice with input on...so that you can see where you are making our mistakes.

Once you can get a few combos down, play on the easier levels to work them into a match.

I don't know if I'll be able to pull of the moves or not, but that will be my own fault. I understand *how* to do them now.

Thanks for the vids born. I haven't watched them yet, but do they also apply for people using normal controllers? (Xbox, PS3)
