Re: Just Cause 2
Jonesy,
I believe you can save anywhere, and it auto saves after completion of towns/villages, etc.
As for backtracking, once you get past the 3rd mission or something you can call for a helicopter to pick you up and take you anywhere you've discovered on the map and drop you off. Much like the Taxi system in GTA IV.MLB: Chicago Cubs

Re: Just Cause 2
One thing I really love about this game is that you can drive, fly, boat, absolutely anywhere with no restrictions. Last night I was being surrounded by the military and people were shooting me from every direction. Luckily, I came across an airport and jumped in a plane and took off. This is what happened after that...

Re: Just Cause 2
I wish I would have rented this game. It's fun to run around and do havoc, but after that, it's boring. The story, what there is of one, is pretty much awful. In fact, I have no clue what to do. Ran around going crazy for a little while, now I don't even know how to start mission 3. Got one mission to do on some island where I have to defuse 4 bombs in 4 minutes. Well they are miles apart and it's next to impossible. Probably putting this on Ebay this weekend. Very disappointing once you play more of it.Comment

The more chaos you inflict the more of the main missions you unlock. They are called "Agency Missions."
The voice acting is bad, but to me it adds to the game's charm. It makes me laugh sometime. My favorite is when Rico takes a hard fall from a parachute and simply responds, "Sheesh!"Comment

I know the mission you speak of. It is very difficult. I aborted that mission, and will come back to it sometime.

Re: Just Cause 2
I can't even figure out where to go, I'm pretty much stuck on this island. I go to move, and I get shot at constantly. Can't find an airport, any car I take I'm immediately at heat level 2, so just losing complete interest in the game. They need a better way of getting ammo for guns for sure unless I'm missing something. Like I said, the lack of direction to do anything has just killed my enjoyment.Comment

Re: Just Cause 2
Moving me is locked, and I don't have enough money to buy anything else. Like I said, I really don't know what to do, the game doesn't give you much instruction or help.Comment

Re: Just Cause 2
Okay, finally beat that mission and got the extraction. Opens up the game a little more. Still don't get the point of the missions or plot. LOLComment

Re: Just Cause 2
Some missions can be frustrating, especially if they don't have any intermediate checkpoints, but now that you've unlocked extraction and whatnot you should be good to go. You'll have more missions to pick from, can extract to somewhere close so it's faster to get there.
I know what you mean though, I wouldn't have gotten this if Kmart didn't have it for 45...I can get near that back when I sell it so shouldn't be too bad.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

The Plot to me is Comedy Relief in between sight seeing, driving like a maniac, and blowing **** up.
My favorite line of the game is: "Rico, just look at that delicious dripping faaaaaaat."Comment
