Re: Diablo 3
I play on the 360 and I get legend drops alot. I have a lvl 31 witch doctor, lvl 21 monk, lvl 22 demon hunter and a barbain I think is 19 all on Hardcore. I would say I have close to if not over 15 legend items. I gave 2 chest plates 125 rating. Rings, belts, two handed weapons,a cross bow, and some others I can;t remember right now.
I know of some people on D3 who don't have as much luck as me on the legend drops but I think thats because they don't clean the map like I do. I smash every barrell, jug, bed, and etc.
I quit playin normal mode. I hadn't even beating the game yet. My witch doctor is in ACT 4 so if I can beat Diablo without diein it'll be my first time up against him.
I'll let ya all know how it goes when I play with him in a day or so.Comment

Re: Diablo 3
I'm blown away at how much better the console version is. I stopped playing the PC version about halfway through Hell mode with my wizard. I'm now on Inferno ActII with my barbarian at level 60 paragon level 2 and having a BLAST. It has actually managed to pull me away from GTA for a while.

Re: Diablo 3
A pretty feature rich expansion, looks good.
Wish there were more updates to skill progression however. After playing Path of Exile everything just seems so linear.Comment

Re: Diablo 3
I have a lot of hours into this game. But, it's been over a long period of time. Reason being: I bring my laptop into work every day. I usually play about 40 minutes to an hour on my lunch most days, and then on days where the boss isn't here and I don't have much to do, I'll play some extra then as well.
I decided a while back I wanted to get to level 60 with each class, and then from there I'd decide which classes I liked the best and take those into Inferno / looking for better gear. I should be hitting level 60 with my monk today, and then all I'll have left is the Witch Doctor (who is level 53).
All told, I think I'm at around 140 hours right now across all characters. To that point, having reached level 60 or very near it with each class, my personal ranking for classes:
1 - Witch Doctor: I don't know if it's just the setup I have with him, but I just have more fun playing with this class than the others, even though his DPS is not as high as my other characters.
2 - Wizard: I haven't rolled with my wizard in months (it was my second character I got to 60, so I've been focusing on getting the other classes leveled), but I remember enjoying it quite a bit.
3 - Monk: I've been very pleasantly surprised with how much I've enjoyed using this one. It was the last class that I started, and I really only did so because I was trying to get to 60 with each class. I've focused on trying to make sure that this character has as much increased movement speed and attack speed as possible, and it's been very fun.
4 - Barbarian: This is the first character I started, and the first one I got to level 60. So, like the wizard, I haven't played it in months. I'm hoping that now that I've played so much more and have a better understanding of gearing, etc., that when I go back in to use the barb next, I'll utilize this one better.
5 (and a distant 5 at that) - Demon Hunter: I don't know what it was about this class, I know a lot of people love it. But for me, I honestly had to will myself to keep using him to get to 60. I wanted to stop playing the character around level 45. I can't put my finger on it - I just never really enjoyed using this class very much. Now that he's at 60, I'll likely never use my DH again.
TL: DR;, I've enjoyed using each class at great length overall (except the DH), and look forward to seeing what the expansion brings.Last edited by tribefanisu2003; 11-08-2013, 10:06 AM.Comment

I agree POE does have an edge on D3 because of that alone for me. Besides that everything else is even for me.Sirius "U"

Re: Diablo 3
Great news about character data transferring. Now I just hope there's an upgrade discount.
Reaper of Souls Runs at 1080p, 60fps on PS4, PS3 Characters Transferable
PlayStation 3 players will be able to transfer their character data to Diablo III and Diablo III: Reaper of Souls on PlayStation 4, Blizzard has confirmed.
Game director Josh Mosqueira explained "we're still figuring it out" in terms of how the expansion pack will be distributed on PlayStation 4 -- he did not specify whether existing users will receive a discount, or whether Diablo 3 will be required to play it, but reassured players that their characters would make the leap between generations.
Mosqueira also said that Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls on PS4 will run at 1080p and 60 frames per-second.Last edited by Flawless; 11-08-2013, 09:22 PM.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Diablo 3
PS Blog: Hands-on with Diablo III (and Reaper of Souls) on PS4
Diablo III’s DualShock 4 controls are still being tweaked and perfected, but the touchpad implementation today was largely gesture-based, swiping left and right to switch to different inventory and skill subsections.Reaper of Souls, Blizzard’s recently announced expansion to Diablo III, will be included with the purchase of Diablo III on PS4.One last treat for current fans of Diablo III on PS3: you’ll be able to fully transfer your characters to the PS4 version when it comes out. Be aware, though, that this is a one-way transfer. Once your level 60 Demon Hunter is migrated to Diablo III on PS4, given the amount of gameplay elements and scenarios introduced in the next-gen version, there’s no going back!

Re: Diablo 3
Polygon: Diablo 3 for PS4 has exclusive features
One of those is player gifts. In the console version, players who get a Legendary item from a loot drop will also get a second bonus item that can be gifted to a friend through the PS4 game's player mail system. Berger explained how that will work.
"I'm going to be running around, killing monsters and a Legendary will drop," he said, "and then — cue awesome sound, column of light — a box, a gift will pop off that Legendary. It's going to say 'Gift for Michael.' I'm going to pick it up and send it to you." That gifted item will be of either Rare or Legendary class and can be used by the player character who opened it.
"Even though you and I are not adventuring together," Berger said, "I can give you something, and still make it feel like we're playing together."With an Avenger Kill, when a player dies at the hands of a monster, there's a chance that monster will level up and then jump into a special portal. That monster will then target a player on your friends list. Later, when that friend comes online, that monster will appear during a special event; the skies will darken and the player will be warned that "Matthew's Bane" — a special title — is after them. If that monster kills that player, it will level up again, becoming the "Bane" of that player and then find a new friend to target.
If you manage to kill the monster, however, you and the friend who spawned it (or most recently helped level it up) will get a piece of loot.
Just how powerful those Avenger Kill monsters can ultimately become is still something that's under discussion. Become too cruel, too overpowered, and the monster may ultimately "retire," Berger said. The PS4 version of Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls will add a few improvements over this year's PlayStation 3 release, including a higher monster density, better graphic shaders, shorter loading times and touchpad support for navigating your inventory.Berger said the team has looked at PlayStation Vita Remote Play for the PS4 version, but expressed concern about the reduced resolution of the handheld.
"It's on our radar," he said.
Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil edition does not have an announced release date on PS4, but Blizzard says it expects the console version to lag behind the PC release of the expansion.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment
