Loot 2.0 has been awesome got my first legendary at level 39 a pair of books for my barbarian. I was surprised to see that the difficulty levels have changed no more Nightmare, Inferno, and Hell. They replaced them with Normal, Hard, ???, ??? I forget the last 2.

Re: Diablo 3
yup with loot 2.0 i've replaced a couple of legendaries with basic rare(yellows) and the legendaries i have i'll hold until ROS launches to reroll some of the stats to make it great.
I'm basically turning a ton of my old legendaries to brimstones because they are worthless.

Re: Diablo 3
I heard that loot 2.0 and console are similar but not exactly the same... I play D3 on the 360 sometimes I get great sessions and other times I get absolutely nothing... It's better then D3 pre-patch but it can still get bad. After not posting here since I guess 2014, I found that my signature had an old slider set for FIFA 15... super awkward...Comment

Re: Diablo 3
Loot 2.0 is pretty sweet.
I had an old Wizard who used a build that broke like a week after release so I had a bunch of gear with no health on it.
In ~2 hours I have 4 legendaries and the rest of my gear filled out to where I can be at least somewhat of an asset in team fights. Nothing great, but at least useful.badComment

Re: Diablo 3
Is it just me or has the game been optimized quite a bit? I used to drop at least a few frames on action-heavy scenes with the graphics maxed, now it's absolutely butter smooth.
Can already tell loot is different just after rescuing Cain in Act 1 - I've got almost a full set of magic equipment already (though no rares just yet).Comment

Re: Diablo 3
I only had about 45 minutes to play on the new patch today, but holy crap what a difference! I found a new legendary sword that, while it's only level 34, offers more damage and vitality than the previous 1-hander that I was using, and I'm level 60. The changes to some of the skills and runes are sweet. Dashing strike is now an incredible skill for monks, and using it I finally feel like this is how the monk was intended to be played.
I was on the fence about the expansion, but now I think I'm going to get it. I think the crusader class looks awesome, and I'm interested in trying out the rest of the new content as well.Lux y VeritasComment

Re: Diablo 3
I think I'm in the minority on the changed loot. Legendaries shouldn't drop this often, in my opinion. I played for maybe 2 hours and had 3 legendary drops. The loot pre-patch was an issue but its a new issue for me in just how easy gear is now.Aaron

Re: Diablo 3
Compared to D2, they still don't drop nearly as much. The Uniques (what are basically now legendaries) dropped like candy there. Just like here, though, a well-rolled rare still outpaces most of them.badComment

Re: Diablo 3
It's all RNG. I had gotten 3-4 legendaries in a couple hours (all upgrades) but then my streak went cold and, outside of crafted ones, I think I've gotten 2 in the past 8 or so hours I've played - and the last one I got wasn't even an upgrade for either of my rings so I gave that one to bcruise in case he starts a Wizard.

Just hoping that there's somewhat of a challenge in regards to gear but not bad like pre-patch.Aaron

Re: Diablo 3
I'd have to say it's much much MUCH easier to get to a point where you are viable and don't get smoked in one hit (on Torment I, at least.)
However, diminishing returns kick in and once you have your nice gear set, upgrades are fewer and further between. I haven't upgrade a piece of gear on my wizard since my first long pay session on him so he's kinda plateaued at ~130k damage on the character sheet.badComment
