ugh these monsters at the end of act 3 NM give me trouble. I have a hatred for Fire Chain, Desecrated, Arcane Enchanted (especially in small corridors), and Vampiric enchanted mobs.

They are crazy... and I'm level 49. 11 more til max, and I'm pretty sure hell is gonna kick my behind. I can't fathom Inferno. Ugh.

Does the blacksmith's training level stay constant across your heroes?

Say you have a Level 5 BS with a Monk, if you switch over to your Wizard will the BS also be at level 5?

Yeah your BS level stays account wide. I think most things stick with your account (gold, extra stash space if you buy it, achievements).

smithing, jeweler, stash, and gold is all account bound.

any other wizards out there? Curious to see what skills/abilities you're using. I really like diamond armor but I just got time slow before calling it an evening so I have yet to see how well that works.

I am playing around with my Wiz and builds, the thing is I have only played coop so I haven't had to solo yet which may make me look at Diamond Armor. Until then I'm just looking at dealing damage.

Have a good combo with my Barbarian buddy. Ice beam (or whatever it is called) slows them to a crawl and he smashes. I like some of the arcade abilities but chug through mana. I read through some of the abilities (and especially runes) and I can't wait to unlock them all.

I find that hard to believe since you were killing it in act 2. Your Barbarian is what my Barbarian inspires to be. I'm determined to get to at least level 50 this weekend with my Barb and might finaly start up a second character since I have some nice low level DH gear.

On a side not I'm loving the auction house. I've already sold numerous items I didn't need for my Barb and have made alot of gold off it. I think with crafting and such the gold AH is where it's at for me.

I'm enjoying the monk, it has grown a little stale for me right now tbh but the story keeps me going.

I'm gonna try out another class soon just to see. Gotta decide between Witch Doctor, Wizard or Demon Hunter. Barbarian seems like the basic Warrior class in all games to me.

The barbarian is awesome, you may think he just kills people in melee combat with swords and how boring but he doesn't just kill people, he EXPLODES people and can kill like 15 enemies at once sometime. He's the most violent character in the game and quite a site to behold when you get higher levels (I'm level 25) so don't dismiss him as being fun to play!!

Wait till you get to nightmare... the times of leaping into a huge crowd and pounding multiple enemies into the ground will disapear.

Loving my DH. Beat Normal on Wednesday. Act IV was unlike anything I could imagine. I remember at one point when a level was cleared running around with the scenery and music playing just saying to myself... They nailed it.I really liked the story I thought it was smooth start to finish. Only real complaint is the personality of my character. Maybe it's different for other classes but it's like the DH is a cross between the terminator and kate beckinsale's character from underworld.

I did't get a lot of time to play yesterday but I'm a little underwhelmed at the difficulty of Nightmare. I know it will get more challenging, but I guess the jump between difficulties wasn't as much as I expected. Logged off after I hit 37 earlier this morning. I'm at 2400 hp, 900 dps. Is this about the same for anyone else ? I'm 2 shotting mobs when playing solo.

I usually avoid melee characters and go with magic ones - but so far, the barbarian is the most fun character for me (out of the ones I've tried: Wizard - who kind of blows, and witch doctor - cool looking spells, but I hit level 10 and my dogs are already having problems staying alive - too early for that...)

Omg! I tried this game with a guest pass on my laptop and with the lowest resolution and the lowest other settings I can run it smooth as butter! Heck yes, going out today and picking it up with the $65 store credit I got on my Gamestop card.

av7 is the man! Thanks for the guest pass, I had it installing overnight and hopefully will play by Sunday (I know the fiancee is dress shopping all day Sunday, so I'll have a lot of time...how sad is that? lol)

Hmm I'll probably check out Barbarian last since i'm already doing a melee character, with how long D2 remained relevant I plan on playing a lot with all the characters for awhile
