Trying to decide if I should pick this game up during my lunch break or wait til I get off work friday.

I don't wanna wait til I get off work Friday knowing that it is going to go by verrrrrrrrry slow but I don't want to pick it up on my break and have it sitting in my car, knowing that I gotta wait probably 6 before I can play it.

Anybody ever been in this situation before?

I'm getting it during lunch so I can stare at its glory in my office. lol

Or if I have the will power, I might do the midnight release.

Just got the call that this one is in stock and waiting for me today, but I can't go pick it up because of work...ugh...

Looks like I'll be making the drive tomorrow AM.

I'm just glad I don't have to go into the office on Friday that I can work from home. Not much work will get done.

That's it! I just went into my managers office demanding she give me half a day on Friday off for the Gears of War 2 release or I was going to curb stomp her or cut her up with a chainsaw.

Been playing the first one tonight so I can get the unlockables for when the new one hits. I passed the first one before on Hardcore and Insane on my old account, so I had to redo it for my new account but been flying through it.

One thing I noticed which I didn't before since I was playing co-op, is how dumb your squad mates are. From reading some reviews, it is good to read that they have been improved.

Either way, dusting some Gears rust off and I'm pumped and ready for the second one. Time to kick some Locust *** tomorrow night.

I'm hoping work looks at the schedule and says they don't need me to cover Friday. If so it's a gears marathon for me.

Either way I'm going to sleep all day today so I can stay up all night playing when I get off work.

All the OSers on the West Coast should still be around by then hopefully.

If anyone wants to hit me up for some late night/early morning killing hit me up.

Looks like Sony fanboys have been spamming Metacritic for God knows why. Look at the user reviews for a game that isn't out yet. 3727 people have reviewed it poorly...seriously? LOL

Probably payback for the Little Big Planet reviews. I believe the same thing happened with Little Big Planet for PS3 on Metacritic.

Maybe I'm wrong. It was either that or Resistance 2. I just remember in the past two weeks I saw the user scores there and was like WTF, that can't be right.

Can't wait to wake up in the morning and started reading them. I am looking forward to the multiplayer impressions.

I can't remember, but I don;t think there is a game mode on Gears of War (1 or 2) where you don't have to play with a team member, like free for all, is there?
