any players here like to play HORDE with a team strategy and fortify an area with shields and stuff? if so shoot me a PM or just reply here. I am looking for a few people who want to stick to a plan and basically play a role during the game and care less about personal kills and focus on making it to the next wave.

That's basicly how the OS Team we had going a week or two ago rolled. Shields, find one fortifyable area, and stay put. Help each other up, communicate.

All key elements.

Just had my first marathon-run playing Horde. It was me and two of my friends with two randoms on Security. All was well until one guy dropped out around Wave 15 but we managed to do quite well for ourselves. Finally, on Wave 29, everyone else died but me and there was one enemy left. As anyone who's played that map should know, if you give up the base you're pretty much done. Since that one locust wouldn't come out, I went out of my base, killed the guy, and tried to rush back to the base. Sadly, I didn't make it and come Wave 31, we pretty much got slaughtered.

Took us a good 2 hours to get to that point. I'm gonna make a run for the last 20 in a few hours or a day. Horde is too damn addicting. lol

Took the 360 over to a buddy's place, and we've been tackling campaign mode this weekend. We're on Act 3 right now (Hardcore difficulty)... should get the rest done before the night's over with.

Anybody up for some Horde tonight?

Man...four of my friends and I spent from about 4 until 9:30 playing Horde. Got to level 47 on hardcore before we all had to take a break.

Honestly, the later 20's seemed a lot harder than the 30's. We had a lot of trouble on 44 and then couldn't get past 47.

Honestly, the later 20's seemed a lot harder than the 30's. We had a lot of trouble on 44 and then couldn't get past 47.

It kind of builds up from the higher in the "10" set you get. So obviously level 3 will be easier than level 9. You will face stronger enemies at level 11, but the ammount of enemies seems to decrease from level 10.

So they High 20s do seem harder than the low 30s because you are stronger but less number of enemies.

At least, this is how I think it works. I've only been to lvl 30, so I can't comment above that level.

I meant the high 20's felt harder than the high 30's. We pretty much rolled through all the lower levels (1-10, 11-16, 21-26, 31-36, 41-44, 45 and 46) but once you get into the 7-0's, you can definitely tell.

And, you can also tell the difference between the 40's and 30's...once they get their final powerup in the 40's, the Horde is ****in' amazing. Seriously, they are deadly accurate with grenades, their pistols are beastly, and the grinders will absolutely tear you up if you don't focus your fire on them.

My friends and I are trying to play 3 player co-op & multi player on the same system. It's tell me I can only have 2 players signed in. Am I missing something? Or can you not play 3 player split screen on the same system.

40s wasn't that bad for us, maybe we just got with the flow but we just steam rolled through the 40s.

For some reason we got smacked around in the 20s.

Is anyone still playing this game? I'm joining the party a bit late as my daughter was born right before the game dropped so video games moved to the back burner.
