Someone said they would buy it off of Craigslist for $30. I have never sold anything on there and not sure if I should meet someone in the mall or what./

Two-Piece Tweak live

Hey all,

I wanted to let you know that we just made a tweak to help with two-piecing. We didn't want to nerf the attacker as that seems unfair so instead we reduced the melee stagger recovery time a tiny bit. This creates a small window in which the defender can now evade away from the attacker before being shotgunned. Obviously evading perpindicular is always the best choice.

Anyway, give it a try and let us know what you think!

Confirmed fixes coming in TU3

• Region filter
• Quitters in public games to get replaced by bots, until somebody else joins.
• New ranking system
• Sniper hit detection fixed
• More weapon balance
• More effective solutions to address cheaters and standbyers.

Other things possibly coming:

• Host migration
• Tweak to smoke grenades

Just finished up the campaign last night. Good stuff, although the final boss battle was extremely easy. The part in Act 5 where you have to defend a courtyard was kicking my booty (especially the part where two grinders come out). Of course, I had my 14 year old nephew help me out and he blew through it in about 30 seconds.

Now I just need to complete Horde...haven't messed around with it too much since I was trying to finish the campaign. I have made it through the first 15 waves so far.

I don't know why but this game didn't pull me as much as I thought it would. I absolutely loved the first one but the second one was just... ehh.

Has multiplayer been fixed? Heck, I haven't even gone online to get the Horde achievements.

Horde was the only reason I EVER got online in this game...

You're not alone P. Gears was the only reason I even kept my 360, and after how disappointing Gears 2 was, I finally just traded the thing in.

If 2k9 wasn't better on the 360 and XBL was so nice, I would probably do the same thing. It's tough to keep an online league going on the PS3, at least until VC actually cares about PSN integration.

I think I would ultimately regret it though. So there it shall stay, even if gathers dust at some point.

You're not alone P. Gears was the only reason I even kept my 360, and after how disappointing Gears 2 was, I finally just traded the thing in.

Co-sign. I can't really put it into words but it just didn't have the same "hold" on me as Gears 1 did. My friends and I played Gears 1 multiplayer literally for a year and a half, but Gears 2 died down in a couple of months for us.

I disagree...GOW II online is so much more fun IMO. Horde is cool, but the territories are the MOST fun. Annex, KOTH...great games.

The new weapons make it even more fun. The mortar's, the ability to lay those sticky grenades and create a perimeter.

Much more strategy involved in this one. I was fortunate enough to hold out ever playing this upon its release as NBA 2K9 was the only game getting love in my 360 so I never experienced any of those multi-player issues upon release.

Gears 1 I couldn't even play friends of mine becaue of the way matchmaking was. Even if I or a friend would create a match, we could never find each other.

GOWII you can easily send an invite, and you and 4 other friends are kicking a$$ and taking names.
