It's a lot better. They haven't called me yet to go hang out and in TLAD they find their own way home.

My biggest gripe with GTA4 was the Disneyland-esque rail chase sequences. When you think you can shoot their tires, or bump them off the road, suddenly a truck with barrels (that you never seen before) would be in front of you losing its load. You knew from that point on you couldn't stop them until they reached their end point.

I always liked when you are about to enter a chase scene, you take out a rocket launcher and you destroy the car before they take off. Mission accomplished.

It would be cool but I wouldn't mind and actually would prefer seeing them go to a whole new city though.

What city would you guys like to see?

I would like to see either Chicago, or maybe the bay area.

Call me biased, but I'd like to see something like a San Diego base as they tend to have a little bit of everything. Downtown, beaches, good weather, Indian casinos, seaports, rich and poor areas (along with the Mexican ghetto), outdoor shopping malls, hills and flats, [Coronado] island and [Coronado] bridge if you need it, and such a massive freeway system... something that's not super prevalent in the GTA series. East of there can be your "countryside", perhaps a leeway into a Chicago area if they want to do the two-city system again.

Chicago would get a second vote for me, though. I'm also not opposed to them creating their own city. Not to say that they don't already, but they always tend to have a "base" with their cities.

Whatever they do, they've been building it for a couple of years now I'm sure, and I have faith in them to deliver.

Least favorite of the newer generation of GTA games, so no.

I'd prefer San Andreas or a new city again. I never really got into the whole 80's thing.

I kind of liked the whole San Andreas ghetto thing for some reason. I'd like to see those 3 main cities from that game rebuilt using the newer engine.

Does the disc version of the EFLC include the GTA4 storyline too, or is it just the expansions. I know it's a stand alone disc, but just wondering if it included the original game or not.

I'd really love for them to do something with multiple cities. Like maybe a west coast type city, a midwest type city, and a more international type city. You could have to go to the airport and fly to the different areas.

This idea is probably way to big or massive for anything on this generation, but I think the natural progression of the GTA franchise is going to be multiple settings.

                            re: Grand Theft Auto IV

The Problem with Picking a City for GTA is that is must have a plot that surrounds the City with some movie Inspiration. For Example, Liberty City(NYC) has The Mob, The "American Dream", and Terrorism.80's Vice City(Miami) had Drug Warfare and San Andreas spotlighted Gangs from the Early 90s.

There are not many Cities in the US that have a Plot that goes with the City, There are some though. Like a Previous poster Mentioned New Orleans, that would be good with Mardi Gras and Hurrican Katrina.

A Very Important Aspect of GTA is that it is a Satire of the American Culture, I think that message gets lost with every media outlet blasting GTA for its language, Violence, sex, etc etc. Picking a City for GTA must embodey the American Culture, which is not an easy Task. Perhaps going back to San Andreas would be the best Option because you have 3 cities you can lampoon.

They might switch it up and go international, like London.

I would love if GTA went to Europe, so many Movie Inspirations, Beautiful cities, and loads of Culture.
