I guess in terms of cities for GTA, I like my cities darker. What I mean by that, is I didn't like the feel of Vice City, it just felt too upbeat for me. I like the ideas of a place like Chicago, or a European city (London, Paris, or possibly Moscow, although I doubt many could identify with Moscow). I like the idea of DC, especially with some political corruption tossed in. San Diego just doesn't really seem like that kind of city that would be great for a GTA to me, it seems a bit too "happy" (I don't doubt there are some bad areas, but all you see on tv and everything i've seen in person just makes me feel that way). I like my GTA games more modern, although San Andreas still worked pretty well for me.

I am really excited for this game. I am very happy that in the period of months, I am getting two epic games in Mass Effect, and then GTA. GTA will probably be better, but those are two great games. I really like the way Rockstar goes about making this game. Even without Euphoria I'd be getting this game, just because of the total effort that is put into this game. I think we are really starting to see what some of these "Next Gen" games can do, beyond just graphics.

I read the IGN interview and it's really in depth and quite good however IGN sorely needs to hire a proofreader as spelling and grammatical errors abound.

Grand Theft Auto: New Orleans or that idea about the gta in the '70's would be cool.

My vote would have to be for GTA-RIO

If anyone has seen City of God you know it would be perfect (plus Acid could play Futbol with the Brazilian Greats)

Anyways Rio is the perfect city; its a bustling metropolis, it has historical and cultural landmarks easily recognized by people, as well as a seedy underground, and its sheer size is immense.

Plus beaches and babes and Carnival!

Anyways Rio is the perfect city; its a bustling metropolis, it has historical and cultural landmarks easily recognized by people, as well as a seedy underground, and its sheer size is immense.

Rio is actually a pretty good idea. I know I didn't like Miami, but I think Rio is a lot more unique and could be a lot of fun.

I wonder if that means that you'll have to stay clear from the Liberty City version of Times Square for a while after committing some crimes. It'd be funny to walk in the area and have cops and civilians alike running after you though.

I hope other stuff stays on that ticker, and it isn't just a laundry list of all your crimes all the time. I really like the elements they are adding to this game.

Now I am trying to remember, and I think this has been said before: that you can get police attention for running red lights and stuff like that. I also hope then that in some chases that the same rules apply to the people chasing you. If I'm stuck in traffic and the guys chasing me can just do whatever they want without drawing police attention, these missions are going to be a lot harder, especially with car impacts being a lot more powerful.
