Does anyone notice the walking being a little touchy or overly-sensitive (in single player)? There are times when I sit my controller down (to watch TV, listen to music, or whatever) and Niko continues walking by himself. I don't know if the momentum is constantly on, but it does hurts you at times, like after climbing up a big wall and you fall right off (because he instantly walks forward). I've also noticed when I'm on the computer (at tw@), the mouse will intermittently move upwards by itself. Is it possible that my controller has something wrong with it or is it just the game?

Well-my controller has a problem with the left stick-it's busted or sticks for some weird reason. It happens on other games too. It's probably from thrashing it while playing smackown vs RAW too much. From reading through other threads and visiting other boards,some say the movement for this game is somewhat wonky.
Even with my weirdo controller I tend to agree to some extent. But,
I'm adapting to it. No problems with driving the car (PS3 version)
I'm still going to snag a new controller once I get a chance to. Maybe someone with a "normal" controller can comment on your question.

Yea- and she gets bored too easy also! ungrateful little wanker. I've been ignoring her calls as of late-been too busy going to strip clubs and doing cab runs for Roman-anyway-putting a cap in her sounds like a plan.

is it something that you have to unlock first? you couldnt hail a cab until you unlocked that part of the story early on, maybe this is the same thing.

I think you can only use it when you're not on a mission or you have to get far enough in the game to use it but I've been able to use the computer a couple times and kill the most wanted criminals that they had in there.

According to the strategy guide . . .

You can start accessing the current crimes in the police database and going after the most wanted after completing the "Crime and Punishment" Mission.

Needed some reading material for the long flights I'll be taking this week. Read the San Andreas strategy guide a few years ago during other flights. That one was better though . . . they had sections describing all the vehicles and side missions in separate sections. GTA 4's guide is centered around the story missions with some side missions in between and no vehicle guide.

I need help with one of Little Jacobs side missions if anyone has done them as of yet....

Im stuck on the one where you have to deliver the package but its timed, its the first one that is timed so if tehre are more after that then Im unaware of those. I get all the way to the drop off point, the yellow blip on the radar gives it away yet there is nobody there, no yellow arrow, nothing and then I run out of time, not to mention its hurting my ability to get help from Jacob as well. So, where the hell is this person at? Ive tried 3 times now, Ive tried getting out of the car and running by the building, Ive tried driving everywhere I can think of and nothing.

The GPS is technically correct, but it can only show where to go on streets. The guy is directly under you in a tunnel. You can go around down to it to see where it is next time, and see where the best place to exit and enter out of it is. There's also a hidden pigeon down there as well.

All I did was buy some new jeans and she loved it. I later got on the 2nd island and found better clothes, and she hated them. She like the immigrant look I guess.
