Down with the Sickness was an idiotic choice for a Disturbed song. I don't know how the lyrics can possibly be included in a T-rated game.

It's not idiotic at all. It's a great choice. And they get rid of swearing - there are quite a few songs in the game that have swearing, but are altered (either cut-out, or actually re-rerecorded with a different word).

Seems bad to have that in a game which kids and families play.

They'll keep the music for that part and replace all the words with an epic tambourine solo.

Seriously, they'll probably just skip that part, as when this song comes on the radio.

Man so far seeing the first 20 something songs for GH4, makes me think I'll just get this exclusively. So far it's not even close. Just a brutal showing thus far.

Especially when you consider all of the DLC available from Rock Band 1 also being a part of that. And the GH franchise has yet to prove that it's even on the same planet when it comes to DLC.

Yeah, the DLC gives RB2 a huge step up on GHWT. Even if GHWT has the best setlist anyone could dream up, there's a huge amount of songs I love available for RB DLC plus the songs on the RB1 disc. Harmonix has really stepped up to the plate and delivered on their promise of new DLC every week.

The thing with these music games is that they get old after playing the same song for the 1,000th time. This problem basically doesn't exist with Rock Band because there's such a huge selection. It always stays fresh.

Really sweet site that has all the Rock Band 2 songs. Just click play and listen. You no longer have to search for the songs via Youtube, etc.

I'm getting so pumped for this game just listening to these songs.

That song with the death growl is going to be hard if not impossible to sing unless you can do that. And I hate the sound of growling so I guess I'll be playing that song on mute

I'm pumped as hell to see this. I was always kind of bummed that it never kept track of the DLC that I bought.

We now track a Career Score (which is disc only), and a Total Score
(which includes DLC)

So, which "package" is everybody buying for the new games? I never picked up the first Rock Band, but I definitely want to play the games and I want the new Guitar Hero, as well - so I need to pick up either the GH: WT set or the Rock Band 2 set.

I've got RB1, so I'm buying the RB2 game only. I suck enough at the less complicated drums of RB1.

Just game only. Same for Guitar Hero World Tour, game only. I already have the drums for RB ( and I suck at them), so since they will work anyway for both games, I'm set.

I'm just getting the game only from both RB2 and GHWT. I pretty much only play the guitar and bass parts and I don't need anymore instruments around the house.
