Re: Rock Band 2
I'll probably end up buying the full bundle for Rock Band 2, and just get the GH:WT disc since the instruments are compatible. I'm still interested to see the GH:WT setlist as well and hear more info about it before I make my decision, but RB2 is way I'm leaning.Villanova Class of 2012

GHWT stuff will definitely work for RB. Although the equipment probably won't be as good.Comment

Re: Rock Band 2
Has it been officially announced that the GHWT equipment will be compatible with Rock Band? I think MS brought the hammer down about cross compatibility, so I hope they both work with each other. RB2 is a definite bundle purchase for me, but GHWT's setlist quality will determine whether or not I buy the disc.Xbox Live Gamertag: MizzouBrentComment

Read that wrong...no idea if there's been an official announcement of the GH:WT instruments working on RB2.Last edited by Beantown; 07-22-2008, 12:26 AM.Comment

No full Rock Band set for me this time around. I will just purchasing the game, new drum set, and cymbols. I might get the GHWT down the road if the setlist is amazing.Comment

It will. Harmonix has absolutely no intention of suddenly changing their stance on the compatibility "war".Last edited by MC Fatigue; 07-22-2008, 08:10 AM.Comment

I'm just getting the RB 2 disc, no reason to rebuy the exact same instruments.Comment

Re: Rock Band 2
I need to replace my rockband guitar though, I hate it still. I want the ion drums too.I don't like the Yankees, I like the Red Sox, I don't like the Lakers, I like the Celtics, I hate the Canadiens and I love the Bruins. Soccer is the best sport on Earth, but most Americans are too ignorant to realize it. I am American.

The pack might very well be worth it for the new equipment.Comment

Re: Rock Band 2
I'm just getting the game only as well. The drums are kinda fun, but 90% of the time I just play the guitar and I hate the Rock Band guitar anyway and don't use it, so I definitely don't want another one LOL.

Re: Rock Band 2
They're not the same instruments, though. They've been drastically improved from what I've heard. The drums are WAY most quiet and responsive, and the guitar buttons aren't nearly as loud, while the strum bar handles better.
