I play...Guitar on Hard, Bass on expert, drums on expert/hard (for the insane songs), and I can sing on hard.

I know, but I wasn't sure what you ment.

So I should have the pedel pushed down and when the note comes let up and push back down?

I echo this "Avoid the muscle burn by keeping your foot pressed down on the kick pedal between notes. Keeping the pedal down also promotes accuracy as you no longer trigger it accidentally courtesy of an aching, exhausted leg hovering over the pedal." Thats the best advise in that article. This technique really helps.

Very good habit. I don't think I keep it pushed down all the way, but it's very close. Once I learned to do that, I got better.

Once I started doing that, I started getting a lot better at the drums. It's all about separating your arm movements from your leg movements.

I can play the guitar and bass on expert, but it took a LOT of practice to get where I am. I started on GH3 last year around Thanksgiving and sucked on medium for quite awhile.

I can separate arm movement from leg movement just fine... I just can't decode what's on screen quick enough and translate it to my body movement. I'm very impressed at people that can, even experienced drummers.

So has anybody here with a mic stand been able to drum and sing at the same time? I can do it pretty well while playing guitar on medium (hard takes too much concentration) but even playing drums on easy with a song whose lyrics I know by heart and is just impossible. My goal is to be able to get 100% on vocals and drums but it's freakin' hard! lol

Yeah i havent jumped on the orange one yet(that one is on hard). Just try playing on medium and after a while you are going to see that you are going to get more and more confortable with it.

I'm wondering if I need an office type chair where I can raise to its highest level. Also, what height do you have your drums set at? Are they are around hip level or higher? Is there a specific height that makes the most sense and feels right?

                            Thanks as always.
Im still trying to learn the drums, the little experience I got with the guitar, I got it from playing GH for about 3 months before getting RB2.
