The live stuff can be really hit-and-miss, IMO. In particular, I still found the AC/DC songs to be awesome despite them all being live, but there are some songs that I just wish we got the master to instead.

Hey thanks for the great suggestion!! I went over to mine earlier today and they had an entire cooler stocked full of 'em. That's where I'll be going from now on!

Depending on how the Dead Weather album is, I might have to grab those tracks. I wish Rock Band would have landed a Raconteurs track pack instead of freakin' World Tour...yuck.

Same here. I really wish we could have gotten Raconteurs.

29/29 for me so far and you'll be proud to know that I just cracked the 350 song barrier today, including 50 of the RB1 on disc songs (I deleted the five cover songs I only like masters) and all 84 RB2 on disc songs. You are now the only person I "know" with more songs than me. I'm jealous!

OH MAN! I just looked at my RB1 receipt (from a year ago) and realized I had bought a 2-yr Best Buy protection plan on this. My drums have been dead for a long while now and I'm thinking if I take RB1 back I may be able to get RB2 in exchange. Would be pretty sweet, huh?

Then again, BB always tries to screw people over on the warranty. I think the policy is if the same model is not available (ie: RB1) they have to supply the customer with a comparable model (ie: RB2) or store credit.

They probably still have RB1 drums in stock. Or even if they don't, that would be a nice credit towards a new set of the RB2 drums.

Whatever you get, I would highly recommend going to rockbandparts.com and picking up the Excel Drum Pads for $20 + $5 shipping. I bought them recently and they are fantastic. My drums are super quiet now and I like the rebound.

Going into tonight, there were 5 songs I couldn't pass. Within the last 45 minutes, I've somehow taken out 4 of them.

                      Sleepwalker - Megadeth
                      Thunderstruck - AC/DC
Snow ((Hey Oh)) - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Rude Mood - Stevie Ray Vaughan

The only song that I own that I haven't passed is Yngwie Malmsteen's "Caprici Di Diablo" which is essentially a 4 minute solo.

You mean to say you can't do this:

                        <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/rLHmyHKRiHU&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/rLHmyHKRiHU&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

                        Anyone could do that!

Thanks for the link! I'll check it out. And yeah, the drums to RB1 was what turned me off of playing them. Seemed no matter how friggin loud I had the tv I could still hear the kit more than the flippin' drums.
