Re: Rock Band 2
Who would of thought that a Green Day song would be nearly un-FCable. Well East Jesus Nowhere takes that honor. That fast strumming part after the solo looks to be pretty much unhittable.Comment

Re: Rock Band 2
Thanks guys instead of playing on guitar I just started to play on bass because its a little bit easier. I figure that by doing this I can still get some time working on my skills but avoid some frustration at the same time.
Is this is a good way to prepare for guitar or should I just keep playing on guitar until I can get it?

Re: Rock Band 2
Man I remember when I tried to move up to expert after finally figuring out hard. And surprisingly it was much easier than moving from medium to hard. Like others have said incorporating that orange button really throws you off. Luckily after awhile it starts to get easier and becomes more natural. Just like real instruments practice makes perfect.
Speaking of real instruments, I find alot of songs more difficult to play on Rock Band then on real guitar. I'm a pretty bad guitar player but there are some songs I know how to play on guitar and just can't get the hang of on RB. Go Figure.Go Yankees
Go Rangers
Go Giants

Re: Rock Band 2
Okay, just rented this game and I'm trying to figure out, why aren't a lot of the songs "stated" to be in the game on the actual playlist? Do you have to unlock them in career mode in order to play them in other modes?
If so, also, does anyone recall when one would unlock AFI's "Gilr's Not Grey"? Yes, I understand I'm about to be crucified on this forum for being an AFI fan. Feel free to take shots at me but at least try to help me out with some kind of answer.Comment

Re: Rock Band 2
Yes, you have to unlock songs in Career Mode.
Or, you can unlock all of them at once. All you need to do is go into the game modifier screen, enter a special code, and all 84 songs will be unlocked instantaneously. The code happens to be the same unlock code from the original Rock Band: Red, Yellow, Blue, Red, Red, Blue, Blue, Red, Yellow, Blue.Comment
