Okay, apparently this is something HMX never mentioned but it's pretty sweet for those getting the NEW strat...

There is a jack near the D-pad that allows you to plug in....your bass pedal.

Well what that does is activates Overdrive instead of using tilt. That's such a great idea. Kind of makes me want to pick up a new strat.

That is awesome.

I get really tired of looking like an idiot in front of my friends trying to get the overdrive to activate. Look like I'm tweakin' out or something.

There is a jack, I just looked reading this, it's on the bottom of the guitar, no mention what it's for nor is it mentioned in the instruction book. I'll try it later to see what it does.

WOW! That does sound cool. I may need to try and find this guitar over the weekend. It is getting some good reviews on the Rock Band forums. It was between me getting this guitar and the new GH guitar. I think I may go with this one.

You know, it's great that Harmonix and MTV Games were able to snatch up AC/DC for Rock Band 2. And "Let There Be Rock"? It's not bad. But it's no "Thunderstruck." And it's certainly no "Back in Black."

Good thing those tracks and more are on AC/DC's upcoming Blu-ray re-release of their classic live show, Live at Donington. And according to a memo sent out to Wal-Mart employees today, it looks like Live at Donington is coming to Rock Band this October.

The memo (pictured above) refers to the release as the "Rock Band 2 AC/DC 'Live at Donington' Expansion Pack for Rock Band 2." Since the memo refers to in-store promotions, one could speculate that a full-on disc expansion pack may be on the way; it's also entirely possible that it simply refers to a marketing tie-in with downloadable content from the Rock Band store.

This is not the first time tracks from AC/DC's Live at Donington for Rock Band have been rumored. The track listing for Live at Donington, which is set to hit stores on October 16, can be found after the jump.

That would kick ***. I was excited to hear AC/DC was on RB2, but then it was a Bon Scott song - and I was a Brian Johnson AC/DC fan - so I was pretty disappointed. I would love to have some of those songs in the game.

I wouldn't argue with that, but I went with songs I liked that also worked well within the game.

The songs from the first album of the Used that I like didn't seem like they'd be fun to play on guitar.
