Re: Rock Band 2
Alright what should I do, its my birthday next week and I can either get Rock band 2 now with wireless drums and mic. Or wait until Oct. 19th and get the special edition with wireless everything and save around 50 bucks.Last edited by DallasRocks; 09-26-2008, 04:16 PM.LA Angels

Man, BSSM is one of my favorite albums of all-time. It's going to be really tough to resist dropping $20 on the entire album after it releases...Co-Commish of the OS Vets I & II

Re: Rock Band 2
Man, I can't wait for RB2 to be released for the PS3. I was thinking about picking up GHWT as well but with the massive amount of DLC being released by Harmonix I don't think I'll bother. I'm never going to come close to keeping up with all the songs I want to learn to play on drums anyway.Comment

Re: Rock Band 2
Do you know if the channels separate the instruments? Like vocals get center channel, drums get center & sub, bass gets right & sub, guitar gets left, and maybe everything else is rear? Or is it multi-channel with nothing in the center like Guitar Hero?Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Rock Band 2
It was based on the song, so like when you listen to a song with headphones and the different instruments will come on different sides. I don't think that instruments were already dedicated to a channel, just based on the song. It was awesome though.Comment

Re: Rock Band 2
News on the new RockBand.com (from last Friday). Sounds like it may not be up until after next Friday.
Hi Everyone,
First off, I’m totally blown away by the excitement level from you guys around this launch. Your enthusiasm has the entire web team totally stoked about what we’re working on.
Unfortunately, as you probably noticed, it’s the end of the week, and RockBand.com is still the same site you’ve always known and loved. Although I said we’d have a new site this week, we made the call today to take a little extra time to ensure the launch goes smoothly. You saw the feature list – we’re building something BIG here, and we want to be sure to take the time to do it right. We’ll expect to be ready to go in just over a week – hang in there!
Meanwhile I’d like to answer a couple questions that came up in this thread.
DO YOU NEED AN XBOX LIVE GOLD MEMBERSHIP TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE NEW SITE FEATURES?
No, you can make use of all web site integration features (Photo Creator, Merch Booth, etc.) with either an Xbox Live Silver or Xbox Live Gold membership.
WILL ALL THIS STUFF BE AVAILALBLE FOR PS3?
Yes, all web site features (including Photocreator and Merch Booth functionality) will be supported for PS3 users as well as Xbox users when the Playstation 3 version of Rock Band 2 hits stores.
Oh yeah, and one more thing. NO AUTOMATIC BROWSER RESIZING. That alone is enough for you guys to forgive the delay, right?
Again, hang in there. We're as eager for this site to get live as you all are. The Rendertrons are getting restless...
