I'm all for Queen, but it's not worthy of one of those "announcing an announcement" endeavorments IMO.

Yeah, I think I worded it wrong, I meant that I had heard it was the announcement of what the Queen DLC would be, not just that Queen was coming.

I mean even still, there were already rumors for next week's tracks. If untrue, it may be Queen, but even then I think that, like any other Harmonix DLC announcement, it should pop up on Friday morning in people's emails.

I figured this was something bigger is all. Didn't matter who the band would be, a DLC announced-announcement is just always too disappointing.

Speaking of which, the PSN store update said something about getting the latest RB update. Well I downloaded the Breaking Benjamin songs last night but there was no such patch available. Is that coming for PS3 today?

I hope that star tracking update comes soon for the PS3.

You 360 guys that already have the star tracking update, does it automatically show your star ratings for songs you've played, or does it only start tracking your star rating for songs you've played after the update?

When you initially sort by stars after the patch, it shows all songs as "unplayed". You have to actually beat your previous high score for it to update and put the song into a 4-star, 5-star or gold star category, otherwise it will remain as unplayed.

For example, I had previously 4-starred Blackened, but it shows as "not played" on the star sorting. I played it, and did not beat my high score, and it remained as "not played".

I had previously gold starred Welcome Home with a score of 232k, then got 271k playing earlier, and now it is in the "gold star" section.

Kind of lame that it doesn't update automatically, but hopefully they can fix it. Oh well. I'm just shocked I scored so high on Welcome Home. I was on fire. I then proceeded to 5-star, The Number of the Beast (Original Version). Alt strumming is finally clicking for me.

Thanks. I understand that it doesn't know what you got in the past since stars weren't tracked, but that's lame that it stays unplayed after you play it once and not beat your high score. Hopefully I won't run into to many that I can't beat my previous score on.

Why you didn't have this song before is beyond me.

And the star issue sounds absolutely dreadful. I understand that could maybe get me to aim for better scores on my songs, but now I don't even know what those scores are! Besides, I've gold-starred plenty, almost some to the point that I don't think I can even get a higher score. That's quite an unfortunate way for this patch to work, but I guess I'll have to live with it.

Hopefully for RB3 they'll just have this damn feature in the first place.

Mine never broke but I don't play drums much and only on medium.
I'm not sure how people have managed to break the metal pedals.

They're trying to find a fix for this, but who knows how long that would take. And let's face it, simply sorting by stars is not what anyone wanted. I would like for it to be like the old solo tour on RB1 where I actually saw the stars next to the score for each song.
