I have serious concerns about the end-game content though. More precisely the lack of it. As far as I can tell you get up to level 30 and that's it. You're options at that point are to grind out for new gear or start a new character. I know this is pretty standard for MMOs these days, I'm just hoping that DCUO has something more to offer.

Anyone have any kind of insight here?

p.s. Any word on when DCUO will start offering free trials?
The game begins at level 30 with all the raids and instances. Plus, they did say they'd be releasing new content. By the time I hit 30, I'm sure there would have been some content updates.

Loving this game so far. I'm about to go after Scarecrow with Batwoman

Mine is similiar. Mostly black costume. Inspired by batman. My hero is dual wielding with acrobatics though. Name is Cobra Kai.

Today was the first day I could not play this game. I am going through withdraw.

I'm gonna tear it up tomorrow night. I love the mind control abilities on this game.

Don't feel too bad, I did not play all day either (spent the day with my GF & the kids).

I'm going to try to play quite a bit tomorrow. I'm glad most if not all of us are on the same server (Birthright). Hopefully we can do some team stuff sometime, I still need to get a new PS3 Bluetooth mic tomorrow as well.

I am getting sick of PvE servers, lol. So MANY dumb *** people want to fight with me, when I have PvP toggled on, but they don't. I must have had about 25 people do that to me tonight. So, I just deleted my character and started two new ones on two different PvP servers.

I noticed the option to flag yourself as PvP "on" in the menus. But honestly, why even turn it on if you are on a PvE server, your best bet from the get go was to go on a PvP server. I'm pretty sure it is like WoW in that it is not just a free for all everywhere, you probably need to be in flagged zones.

Well there is a thread on the DC universe forums someone made that said he's been ganked more times than he was at AoC launch on the pvp server, and AoC was a total gankfest. He loved it though.

I love that part about open pvp environments, but it isn't for everyone. So justs be prepared.

I can't decide what to get this game on PC or PS3. A few guys I play other MMOs with have it on ps3, but there is only a few of them and they acted like they would have very sporadic playtimes.

PC would be the most convenient, but I've heard this game is best played with a controller and I don't want to have to go buy a mini usb port just for this one game. Plus I can eventually trade it in for some credit at Gamestop if I end up getting bored with it...unlike the box full of MMOs I currently have that will never be played again.

You need a contoller. I picked it up, and it is loaded with players every time I play. You will need a controller it plays like an action/adventure game more than a MMORPG. I have it for the PS3

I'm not a PvP guy, I was just giving the person I quoted some advice. I play strictly PvE (Birthright server).

If you do end up getting it on PS3, play on the Birthright server. It seems that is where most of the OSers are going.

BTW, those of you who have this game please add me to your friends list (Boltman33). It's kinda funny, my xbox live friends list is about full yet my PS3 friends list is completely void haha.

Or if some or all of you are too lazy to add me put your PSN username here and I'll add you guys.

Never really liked MMOs but was always a huge DC fan growing up so I picked this up. Loving it so far, cant wait to get the super strength power at lvl 22. Right now Level 9 - one handed weapon, acrobatic tank - on the Crisis server N4cer.

I'd gladly play with the OS guys, but not on a pve server

Think I'm gonna go pick this game up at halftime

edit - nm the local gamestop closes at 6 now. Don't know if I'll be able to pick it up tomorrow or not.

Servers are on and off today as they are working on increasing capacity. It is a little disheartening that there has been little time to play on a weekend, however I am glad it is as populated as it is especially for the PS3.

                                Severs down all day today.

So far though level 24 with my hero. Batman is my mentor, I use gagets and dual pistols. People told me my character looks like a cross between Deadpool and Shredder from TMNT. LOL

Also as of now I already have design plans for a Lex Luthor, Joker, and Superman mentored hero and villains. For a comic nerd, this game is a dream.

@ MS for canceling Marvel Universe years ago.
