You can definitely solo through this game although the quests I've heard do get more challenging as you level. You can also run instances and raids at higher levels as well as PVP

If you join the Birthright server (PS3), many of us here are on it. I think we should start an OS league so we can track our posters and help through the game.

I'm going back on tonight and my PSN ID is Perceptor2099 so shoot me a request. I'm still learning the game myself, and really should settle on which of my toons I'm going to focus levelling up lol

Thanks for the friend request bro. We definitely need to form an OS league, someone can start it up and send out a few invites and leave it open so that newer members can invite more OSers and so on. Once we make one (someone? lol) I'm definitely in.

I too sent out a few friend request to fellow OSers who I think are playing this game or who will be soon. My PSN name is Boltman33. I noticed some of you have not taken advantage of the OS feature where you can have the little PS3 icon under your username to hold the mouse over and see what your PSN name is, DO IT! The more of those I see, the easier it is for me to add you guys.

This game still has mic issues from what I can tell, I even bought a wired mic and had it connected prior to firing up DCUO and it still was not working.

I forget the actual spelling but my current toon's name is Ruckuus (I think that's how I spelled it lol).

Sony increasing servers to meet demand!

This game seems to be selling very well so far its good news for Sony and the fans ...

With the release of DC Universe Online in the European territories, Sony Online Entertainment is pleased to announce today that they will be adding more servers to meet the demands for European players who just got the game this week.
The overwhelming support of players who bought DC Universe Online has forced Sony Online Entertainment to push more servers as more players are joining the cult MMO this year. Today, SOE will be opening up new EU servers that are based in their US Data Center. In the near future, SOE, will be adding additional server in their EU based data center and when that happens, they will move the servers to that facility.
Is DC Universe Online that good? You bet it is! So far, it’s addicting!
DC Universe Online is now available on the PlayStation 3 and PC. We will have a lot of DC Universe Online coverage in a few days.

SOE’s delayed mmorpg set in the world of DC comics finally became available for the PS3 and PC on January 11th in North America and the 14th in Europe where according to John Smedley, President of Sony Online Entertainment, the game is seeing more players than expected.

Today Smedley tweeted that they were adding more servers to the game due to an influx of players, mainly in Europe. “Adding more servers in the US and the EU. Way more people came to play in the EU than we expected. And we expected a lot!”

The servers for the PS3 and PC versions of DCU are separate so it’s unclear which version of the superhero mmorpg is receiving the most players right now. In DCU Online players can battle with and against famous/infamous comic book legends including Superman, Batman, the Joker, and Lex Luthor in several iconic locations.

Yeah I read some of the Best Buys reviews and it is laughable people giving it one star because it is a monthly fee and they can't do co-oop or 2 players. I think people need to read before they buy stuff.

The game is a MMO, I don't think there is a MMO out there that don't have a monthly fee.

Looks like I will have to buy a PS3 again and get this game. Game looks like a blast.

There are several f2p mmos that use a micro transaction form of payment instead of a monthly fee.

It's silly for anyone to give the game 1 star because though.

Picked the game up today for the PS3. Finally got it downloaded and hit the streets with my first mission. Not really sure what I am doing but it is fun. Now I keep getting disconnected. It's my understanding that Sony is working on the server issue but is anyone else having the disconnect problem?
