Do you guys think i'd still be able to pick up this game this weekend even though I didn't pre-order it? Is it that highly demanded ?

You will be able to get it tomorrow if you want. I have yet to see the need to pre-order a game.

For those getting the game on the 360, the game looks just as good as any other 360 game. There's something about final fantasy games that just scream class. This one looks to be no different. Can't wait to delve into it.

Just picked up the NA version on PS3 and no the saves from the JP version don't work. At least I now know what to do and what not to do.

I only installed the first disk, and it was 5.9 GB.

Went ahead and installed disk 2 and 3 before bed. Disk 2 is 5.8 and disk 3 is 6.6.

I used to play more back on PS2 and Playstation. But, I have yet to play an RPG on these next-gen consoles.

Outside of RPGs on the 360, I haven't really played all that many. There are several titles I want to go back and check out now that I'm getting into them a lot more. The only one I remember really digging back in the day was Lunar on Sega Cd. On the 360 my favorites are Mass Effect 1 & 2 and Dragon Age. Oblivion was decent, but I found the locations a bit repetitive and boring. Dragon Age had some spots like this as well, but overall I enjoyed the game a ton more. Fallout 3 was also pretty interesting. I never did finish it up though...

I managed to get this yesterday and so far I'm very impressed. I've read a lot of comments about graphics on the PS3 being superior, but I have a hard time seeing anyone disappointed with how this looks on the 360. This visuals are beautiful. If you only have a 360, you shouldn't let that stop you from picking this up.

The presentation of this game is top notch. When I watched the opening sequence my jaw damn near hit the floor. It just has a very polished feel to it. The musical score, camerawork during cutscenes, and level of detail in the environment is all very well done.

I haven't played very much yet, but I'm enjoying it so far. I hope I get to put some decent time into when I get home tonight. I still haven't finished Mass Effect 2 yet, and I need to play Battlefield some more as well. There's too many games out right now!

Target has a special deal on it. You get a ten dollar gift card if you buy from there. I hope that they allow you to put it towards the game.

Picked this up on midnight release and been playing it for a good 2 hours now. I am really enjoying every minute of this game, despite what people say about how linear the game is...kind of reminds me of FFX the way it's structured. IF people recall that game was really linear itself. But so far I'm having a blast playing this game.

Gamefly has fired this off to me, should get it tomorrow or by thursday I'd imagine. Haven't really been a huge fan of JRPG's the last few years, but if it tides me over til the PC version of Dragon Age: Awakening ships next week, I'll be content.

Played it for an hour, and I am really enjoying it so far. For those wondering there is no install (PS3) Version. Which is very surprising considering it looks so good.

By the way, does anyone know the code in the box unlocks?

I've never seen them allow that.

Plus if you try and return the game without the gift card they give you $10 less.
