GameFly let me down >_<. In fact, they sent me the fourth game on my list when the third was listed as available now...
Oh well, Bioshock 2 is in the mail so hopefully it'll work out then.Comment

I have to say this, but if someone was sitting in the other room and heard some of the sounds from this game they would think you are watching a porno especially some of the moaning come out of Vanielle. LOL!Comment

Well, I meant in general fan service and the lack of serviceable armor. Just look at Kaim from Lost Odyssey. Dude has HALF of a breastplate.Comment

Not sure if you fellas knew this, but there is a repeat function for your abilities.
Once a fight begins and you set your abilities, after the initial attacks from the abilities you can just go back to abilities again, push right on the d-pad and press X at the same time(You will see the word repeat).
For some reason the tutorial does not mention this?
You will see a little > next to abilities. This helps me alot.Comment

I was thinking the same thing... some of the sounds made during this game sound like they came straight out of a porn.. I was just waiting for a family member to ask me just what I was watching in here....
And when Vanille showed the brand on her butt.. oh my. I was like

Re: Final Fantasy 13 (PS3/XBOX 360)
Structurally speaking, I would say FF13 is more similar to FF4 and FF6 than FF10 which is the best thing about this game. The way you are forced to use certain parties through most of the game because the story actually integrates them into the main story is great. For the most part, post-SNES FF games have been about a guy and girl with everyone else along for the long, awkward, cheesy-dialog-ridden ride. Story-wise, FF13 is a huge step forward back to where it used to be in FF4, but it still needs about three times as many characters with half of them dying in dramatic ways.
I would say there are two things that are definitely not good about this game. One is the autobattle command. I think it's a good thing that it's there. However, it should be like other JRPG autobattle modes where it is something you can just toggle on and off. Better yet, the autobattle command could exist in the game exactly how it is, but there could be an added "Strategy Mode." When you toggle it on, the ATB speed slows down and you have to input your commands manually. Also, the battle time would need to be adjusted dynamically or else 5-star ratings would be impossible.
Also, the component/item upgrade system is awful. It's supposed to feel good when you get a rare drop. In this game, weapon xp basically equals gil since it can be bought in infinite quantities. The difference between a common drop and a rare drop is just a magnitude of weapon xp. This means for every enemy, the common drop is a little bit of gil while the rare drop is more gil.
SpoilerNot to mention the fact that, according to the strategy guide, it's a waste of your time to use common and rare drops to upgrade your items at all.
FF12 had this aspect of the game nailed down. It wouldn't work in the same way since that was open world and you could always go back for rare drops, but they could have thought of something better.
Overall, I would say this is a very good FF game. IMHO, it's not as good as FF4 which had the strongest narrative or FF12 which had the best gameplay.Comment
