So what's going to be the best way for us to keep a list of people getting it from this thread, so we can know who we can play Firefight with?

we could just have people list of their gamertags in this thread. mine is "Pounding Beers"

I'll be getting this day one though I know I'll spend some time going through the single player coop with a friend of mine. I am down to do firefight whenever.

Damn. If I wasn't so broke this would be an instant purchase. Looks like I'll be waiting until November when I have a bit more money to pick up this and COD: MW2.

Is there a list of improvements over Halo 3 somewhere? I wasn't really interested, then realized if the matchmaking system was improved, I hate losing teammates and playing 1 vs. 4, I may reconsider.

The multiplayer (which is on the 2nd disc) is the same thing as Halo 3 multiplayer. The only multiplayer exclusive to ODST is the Firefight mode, but it doesn't have matchmaking.

I hope this isn't a mistake, but I fear that it is. Anyways, Scarabs are listed under the Firefight Vehicle Chest, along with something called a Recharge.

If you scroll over it, it says its a Recharge Station. That would be insane if you had to fight against Scarab's in Firefight though.

This is not coming to the US. I'm surprised they didn't try to do something with the casing on this one like they did for Halo 3, RE5, and the upcoming COD:MW2.

not trying to make the decision for you, but if you wait until later to get ODST you might miss out on some epic firefight battles. There's no matchmaking for it, so unless you have a bunch of friends on the game at the same time, you'd have to go it alone in firefight.
