After you unlock the ability to buy the elegant suit, you might be able to set a waypoint for the Theive's Landing tailor. That's how I got there.

About people who steal your horses-----

Since I've never played any GTA games, did this happen there as well? (Other people would attempt to steal your car?) And you have the ability to waste em? Just curious, as most reviews have said this game was similar to GTA...

I don't think it's an issue that would require a patch. It seems more like a multiplayer server issue.

It happened in GTA, but in those games it's more about a random criminal running up and car jacking you, and not a scripted event involving trickery like in RDR.

So...once the server issue is sorted, it'll stop happening?

That's probably better news than a patch!

I must say this about multiplayer: The different modes are fun and stuff, but I still think free roam gang raids are the best thing about this game. That and just raising hell and goofing around the whole map killing law enforcement.

I did the first side mission where you help this rancher clear out a gang from his place, and eventually he says "save my daughter!" So I go inside his house where I see one of the criminals pointing his gun at the daughter and I just watch as the guy blows her brains out with a shotgun...... and my honor level goes down by 200..... so much for quick reflexes.

There is a dude in near the swamp who is a random and wants you to do something for him.

I did it. It took forever. And I got nothing in return. Am I glad I did it: yes.

the guy wants you to get flowers 3 of each type for him so that he can give them to his wife, he's old and it's their anniversary or something so he can't travel to get them -which are located on far sides of the map. I thought I'd have them just by going around and picking flowers every once in a while. Well I read it finally to get a better understanding that it was 3 of 3 types since I went back with only 2 of one type. Any-who, get the final one, and bring it all the way back thinking that this must be a special side quest because it took so long, and requires more work than any other I'd come across so far. He walks me into his cabin in the swamp for some tea with his wife so we can all talk. His wife is a corpse that looks hilarious and John pretends for a bit that she's alive because the man seemed so normal. anyway, he makes an excuse to leave and that's it - NO REWARD! LOL... In a way I thought that was the best part because it is so deliberate! It's just a putrid corpse the eyes long gone and mouth gaping and that's it.

Absolutely loved this one, just got done with it and wasn't expecting any of it.

I hogtied a dude, set him on the edge of a bridge, untied him, and he fell off. Just like I was hoping. He lived.

My horse walked off the edge of that same bridge. Dead.

Not the way I wanted that to work out.

I did that mission just tonight. I guess I was in an evil mood because ...

After going in for tea, we said our goodbyes, I proceeded to put on my bandanna, hogtie the old man, dump in on the floor in his shack, and shoot him in the back of the head as he lay there face down. Loot his body, walk outside, take off bandanna, and go on my way.

I had actually been a really good guy up until that point. But now, all bets are off after that. No telling what John is capable of from here on out.
