Wow, amazing! Just finished it, or have gotten close I believe.

I just now became Jack. I was not expecting that at all. When i saw Jack in the cut scene I was thinking, "Theres a definite Sequel." Nowhere did I think I was going to play the rest of the game with him.

I don''t know what to think right now. This story was Hollywood material. I am still shocked by it all.

Ok...so I go to thieves landing and as I enter this chick is getting carried away by some guy. I shoot the guy and leave her on the ground because I then get shot by a bunch of other guys. But what's weird is that the frame rate dropped significantly, probably half of what it normally is. EXTREME LAG.
I managed to kill all the guys and freed her from the hogtie. After letting her go the frame rate returned to normal but wow, I haven't seen that kind of lag in SP at all.

The exact same thing happened to me last night - I haven't seen anything like that in 20 hours of playing. It was in Thieves Landing as well.

I don't want to spoil anything for myself, but are the majority of opinions positive on this game? How is the difficulty level? I love the setting, the trailer, and gameplay vids looked awesome as well.

Most if not all will tell you to buy this game right now. As for difficulty level its not hard but you can take auto aim off if you want to play a more challenging game.

Met my first cougar today. Was riding around and saw this big creature thing coming at me and I was like what is that and then boom my horse is dead so I shot and killed it.

I had my first cougar meeting yesterday as well. I was boar hunting for one of the challanges and the damn cat came out of no where and suddenly my horse was dead and I was tumbling down a cliff. By the time I got up, the cougar had attacked me again and I was down and out, but a couple of random guys came by and killed it.

I loved that some randoms killed the cougar and saved my life. I was sad to lose my horse - it was the horse that you get near the start of the game.

my copy is scheduled for delivery today. Can't wait to tear into after I get home from work. Gotta see what all this here hubub is about.

but i gotta hit the gym, drycleaner, the barber shop, and grocery store first. Dang you Responsibility.

Couple questions.

To get legend of the west do you have to be level 10 in all missions?

If so is this the only way to get the last level of dead eye?

Also the funny man stranger mission. I have a ? sitting up by the mine but I go up there and there's nothing to be found. What am I missing?

Yeah to get the Legend of the West outfit, you have to be level 10 in all challenges and I understand this unlocks the 3rd level of dead eye as well.

I assume you're standing on top of the hill above the mine? The Funny man is located in the mine so head down to the entrance and you should have no problem finding him.

Got some good time in on the game last night and this morning. I had so much fun raiding the camp with the marshall. This is the quest that has him help me find Williamson. I felt so good going in and killing these guys.

I did a bounty too, it was great that after I got the bad guy I was riding back to town to collect the bounty and about 4 guys came after me from the gang. I killed them all.

This game is amazing!!!!!

How do you get a bandana?

I haven't had any trouble doing a duel, maybe they are easier when you first do them?

I did the Flowers side mission last night...

After thinking about it more and more, I should have seen that coming. But I didn't. And I'm glad...because I was truly weirded out when Marston entered the house. I was thinking to myself, "please don't stay here long".

Do u have to complete "i know you" to get the achievement for completing 15 stranger tasks? I have 14 completed and that one is not.

I beat the game so i dont think i have the option to do that one now.
