Re: Red Dead Redemption
I tried replaying this game after I finished it, but I couldn't get into it again. For me, it was the story that really drove the game and made me want to keep playing. Once you've finished it, that's pretty much gone. I wonder if having taken so much time off now will help, though.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
He had some good moments. He has some ability. There were still some awkward line readings, but that's going to happen in student films sometimes, especially if the person directing isn't an actor themselves. But the guy that played Marston was really bad.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Just got pissed at this game.
Wanted to do one last mission before bed. Did it and went to hitch my horse in Amarillo. Stupid horse overshot the post and started a mission with the sheriff which I did. So then I just wanted to finish that and after I did I rode back to town, my stupid horse ran over a dog and killed it which gave me a bounty and I started getting shot. Didn't know what to do so I ran to the sheriff and paid $3 for what I thought was my bounty money. It was a bribe... -400 honor. So now I'm pissed and as I walk out of the sheriff office A SIDE QUEST activates. All I wanted to do was that first mission and save and go to bed. Not to missions and -400 honor. PissedComment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
And I feel like the horses are extremely awkward to control. THAT is the moral of the storyComment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
I would challenge anyway to find a game where horses have been done better or more accurately than this one... even Assassin's Creed's horseback riding feels very outdated in comparison.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
If anything, they control exactly as a horse should... you can't just immediately go right and left, etc, like a car... there are momentum and phsyics to account for associated with the way a four-legged animal would move.

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Pro Tip...
buy a couple of horse deeds and everytime you are about to embark on something challenging or just have been riding around hunting collecting, ... USE a horse deed and it auto saves the game... that way wherever you are you can reload if something like that goes askew. (it reloads at nearest owned properry) ...also replaces your current horse
also yes agree,,, horses ride soo so well... they handle better when you don't race at full tilt all the time too. First time around I raced everywhere, now I ride as if in real life, walk, trot, gallop etc, it's really not that much slower and controls better and looks realisticLast edited by Klocker; 05-10-2012, 02:15 PM.Comment
