You know, there's a lot of similarities between GTA and RDR, as far as the engine and gameplay, but one big difference for me, is that I don't feel obligated to use any cheats with RDR... I don't even know if they exist.

I'll stop by GS on my way home and pick it up for cheap.

I'm so busy with work, gym, social life, nba playoffs... I can barely find time to play anything. I know, when I buy this, It's going to put everything else I'm trying to do on hold... lol.

There are, but they are all a pain to even use. They are 4-5 word phrases you have to type in. Not really Rockstar type cheats you are used too.

I'd guess it's in this tread somewhere, but I've never posted my story on OS. I did years ago on IGN though.


So I'm riding along in the prairie outside of Beecher's Hope, probably hunting buffalo. I see a small tent with tons of TNT surrounding it. There were two guys making dynamite sticks, no big deal. One guy says high to me, and John's like, "Howdy". Just as I start to leave, I hear one of them say something similar to, "I need a smoke break." He asks the other guy, "Do you have a light?"

BABOOOM!

I turn around suddenly to see the two men flying 30 feet in the air. Their tent was gone and the earth was scorched. I looted their bodies and got $7 from them.

Finally getting the chance to play this.

Red Dead Rebellion is allegedly in the works, according to a rumored leak by a former Rockstar intern last month. No concrete confirmation or word of a plot/release date, but at least it's something.

Would absolutely love to see them come out with another game, so I'm hoping there is some validity to this rumor

I would love a prequel where you get to run with the gang and be a badass. However, it would suck knowing the eventual outcome.

I just don't think I would enjoy playing a full game as Jack...but I'm sure if that was the case, Rockstar would make it work.

Yeah I would hate for Jack to be a main character, and I think that is how the majority feel towards Jack, so it would either have to be a prequel or different setting.

Perhaps in some other part of the west, running semi-parallel with the story from Red Dead Redemption. Hearing about some Marston fellow trying to clean up all of his old cohorts in the wild west,

then hearing about how he got shot up. Maybe you go out there to lay claim to the land as the new gang in town.

I don't know, I will be interested to see what route they take if another game does come to fruition

That would be a good idea. I'll have to refresh my memory on Landon Ricketts during my play back through it, but from what I remember I think they could make something out of that
