    Re: Red Dead Redemption

Just lost my white stallion. Really nonplussed. Went through a lot together. Just left way too soon. Never even got to start that Wyld Stallyns cover band we always talked about.

Exclaiming "You stink!" during the skinning process was probably a little much from John's end though.

I popped in RDR not to long ago. Ah, the nostalgia.

But I tried to play LA Noire once again, and the game wouldn't boot up for me. Wonder what happened.

          *sigh*

2nd time I've seen a game I really like on PS+. Maybe it's time I stop being such a cheapskate and just buy a year's subscription already...

I know I'm buying Uncharted and the alst two have been the funnest experiences in multiplayer I've ever had, so I'm sure this one won't be any different.

I regret selling my PS3 to my cousin. Had this game on the HDD. Hogtying people and letting the train do the rest was the best thing ever!

I take that back, it might have been $9.99 and on sale. I don't want to be misleading there.

Regardless, I got it of PSN and haven't played it yet. Maybe I should...

Damn I miss this game. My brother kept his PS3 and I love to watch him play; sometimes I get to play. To ruin his reputation once, I rode a horse from Blackwater to Mexico, fed him an apple, hopped off, and shot him point blank in the head with his sawed off shotgun.

Killed a horse just to watch it die... and for the meat.

OK, I still haven't played this (I know, I know, you hate me already...or maybe even before that...? ) but it's on my radar. Once I'm done with my Saints Row era, RDR is the next thing for me.

By the way, this game has areas with snow, right? Because that's something I'm missing whenever I play open-world games.

Yes, snow, trees, bobcats, and bears. Oh my...

It's probably the only game I remember everything about, every cut scene, every event, every location.

You made the right choice. Questions should always come 2nd.

After seeing how GTA V handled snow (and water for that matter), I cannot help but envision the potential that could unlock in the next RDR. High stepping through snow drifts in those South Dakota scenes were legit. Also, I might be a little disappointed if there's not some kind of extended water interaction in the next RDR -whether it be canoeing, rafting, boating, or fishing (I'd like to come across a bear fishing).

Either way, I love the snow in current RDR just as well. I can't say enough about soaking in that environment for high elevation.

I said it before and I'll say it again, if we can get a second Red Dead and a second LA Noire, I think I'd faint in happiness.
