I bought both! 360 is so much better. I thought GTA4 on PS3 was superior ....Not this time around...

I'm curious: Are you forcing 1080p on your PS3? Because that would affect visual quality on a 720p game, and while I can believe there are slight differences, your reports of "360 so much better" conflicts with what other people have been saying.

Oh, and as far online trouble, I don't think it's a Live! issue. I think Rockstar's servers are just overwhelmed. I won't be getting my copy of RDR until later today, so I was trying to play GTA4 on my PC, and I can't even log into Social Club.

I knew I would like this game but I didn't think I would enjoy it this much. I just love everything about it, hunting, playing poker, bounty hunting and I've even enjoyed the story missions so far. About 5 hours or so in and I just want to keep going. I really like the gun fights as well, the dead eye reminded me a lot of the mark and execute in Splinter Cell but it's still different and really fun.

great game. I'm a gta4 ***** (well not really, but got old fast for me) and a RDR lover. As I said earlier in the thread it seems like things happen to you and they sure do. It makes a world of difference.

I'm still getting used to some of the controls, but doing the missions are fun and so is just roaming around. I did a bounty hunt and killed the guy, and was getting bombarded by random goons afterwards. They rode in on horses, not sure if it was because I just took a bounty or if they were trying to assassinate me because of who the character is and it was nighttime.

Unbelievable game so far. Everything is fantastic. My only grips is the up close fighting that I have experienced...little difficult. I was riding around earlier and got attacked by a pack of coyotes and they swarmed me. I pulled out my gun and went to aim. Accidentally shot my horse in the back of the head. lol

Haven't checked MP yet but if any of you guys are going to get at it today/tonight then hit me up. GT: White Walls 420

Just picked it up! Traded FF13 and God of War Collection and got the game for free. This afternoon is going to be a long day at work.

Just got back from Best Buy.........I took the Toys R Us ad with me which had the $25 Gift Card mentioned if you bought Red Dead. I had them price match, but they took off the $25 from the game......so it ended up costing $34.

I didn't mean to but I played the game from the time I got home around 1220 till just after 5 am, had to be up and out the door, by 7. I'm not even really hurting right now, but I must say I was very impressed. So far I've walked the straight and narrow, although there was a guy that was being attacked by wolved/cyotes and I didn't help him out.

Played poker and won $25 bucks, spent a good bit of money on the double barreled shotgun too. I really enjoy the hunting also.

Nice move man (wish I would have known that).

Picked mine up at Best Buy today near where I was working and cannot wait to really dig into this sucker later. I have a feeling I will be up late tonight. Well, not as late as N51_Rob.

Great impressions fellas! We all appreciate it.
