    Re: Red Dead Redemption

I found the poker table. I keep hunting and robbing people just so I can afford the buy-in and feed the addiction.

Not a bad poker simulator, my flopped Queen high straight got beat by a 10's over Jacks full house on the river. So I shot the man. Can't do that in Vegas.

So apparently in free roam you can get wasted while paused...I paused to check on a weapon stat while being hunted by the law and noticed my guy getting slaughtered in the screen background.

It's a hell of a lot easier to die in this than GTA...lol.

my question got lost in the thread (massive)

anyone who knows...how do you get treasure. I have a map and recognize the area but there is no prompt...i've tried roaming all around the area and no dice
Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.

Well, I was slightly on the fence with this cause I was just thinking "Call of Juarez" in the open world. But after going through some of the reviews. not a chance I'll be missing this. Gonna have to get it next week or the week after

Saw the same exact thing. This game is greatness. I am having a hard time walking away from the poker tables though. I've made 1,000 chips twice and unfortunately everyone busts out. Hopefully there is another table with a bigger buy in. Can't wait to play Liars Dice as well.

Marston sounds so much like Kevin Costner in Open Range.

Free Roam is addicting...I haven't even fired up the main story yet. I do know this...my sorry donkey riding *** is a crappy cowboy.

The only thing that hasn't killed me are the rabbits, birds, and deer....although the deer get partial credit as while I was hunting them, they led me to a pack of wolves who mauled the livin' **** outa me.

The wildlife is no frickin joke in this game...I love it!
