How the heck do you know which horse is which?
I just want mine to be pretty.:o

Rockstar definitely could have done better with the horses.

Basically all I know on sight are the 3 top tier horses.

I think I found it. Do you get a message like you do during the mission where you get the Saddler, or are you just supposed to know?

you dont get a message for each horse, but an achievement will pop up after you wrangle all three of the three star horses

Alright.

Pretty sure it's the right one, he's fast and has really good stamina.

EDIT: Confirmed by looking in the general store.

I found one in Tall Trees/Great Plains area. Just have to keep an eye out is all.

From what I understand, West Elizabeth (Tall Trees, etc.) is the only place to find them. I kept thinking they were in Mexico and I was constantly breaking these black horses at night but the deed never appeared in the general stores. Came to find out that the horse was mostly brown during the day.

I decided to sidetrack and do some of the hunter challenges. The killing wolves with a knife is hurting my feelings right now, and it's not just the fact that they are always in a group of 5 or more (though I did manage to isolate one while he was feeding on a coyote carcass...cool detail).

So I had killed 4 of the five with my knife as it says, but only got credit for killing 2. I got full credit for their pelts though...weird. Then, I save my game ("hard" save at a house..not autosave) and go at it again and get killed by a pack of like 7 of those bastards...lol (Another cool detail, it started as 3-which is why I approached to begin with-but one of them howled and 4 more showed up). Anyway, no biggie...I just reload my save only to find that it stripped me of ALL my progress towards that challenge!
Screw that noise!

I hope that's just a one time glitch or something, because it's irritating as hell.

There are descriptions of the horses on the deeds at a general store. That's all there really is to go by unless you check out the link below and click each one. I like to see pictures.

I've seen lynchings, and have stopped a few by shooting out the rope. But I was wondering can you lynch people if you wanted, with your lasso or whatever?

I came across some dude who was saying his buddy was being lynched and he didn't do anything wrong. So I wen't to investegate, and used Dead Eye to shoot out the rope. It was just outside of Armadillo, on some random tree.

Also is it wrong of me to shoot a guy while he is taking a pee in the bushes? He got off his horse ran to the bushes to take a piss, and while he was doing it I shot him in the back of the head.
