^ With how awesome Red Dead is and how detailed Liberty City was, The Next GTA is going to be just about the most perfect game ever created.

Re: Red Dead Redemption
So I went back a couple night ago and popped GTA IV in, Holy crap the controls in that game suck. After playing Red dead you really take for granted how good of a job they did w/ the controls and how well john actually moves.
Red Dead has almost rendered GTA unplayable for me...
One big thing is I don't think RDR's online play stacks up with GTA's. I've heard a lot of people talk about how RDR's online is so vastly superior but I just don't see it.
Ending spoiler
SpoilerI wish I had a save before John got killed. Jack is just not nearly as cool.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
I still like GTA better but Red Dead is up there on my favorite games list. I just finished it.

I wish they had made him a few years older so when he talked I didnt have to listen to his voice crack. Voices like that are what ruin Xbox live.My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Just finished.
Spoiler
I think some of those family missions should have been at the beginning, but I also see the value of having them at the end to show the changes the boy goes through.
I also had a feeling the game couldn't end on as light of a note that the whole family set of missions was. I was waiting for something bad to happen.
John dying caught me totally by surprise, and only when I saw all of those guys the idea of playing as Jack popped into my head.

Re: Red Dead Redemption
I don't know if anyone else noticed, but i swear tumbleweed is haunted, especially the mansion. I'm inside and i hear voices and footsteps and no one else is around when i go check.
...i also think a few of the buildings in town are haunted too..HELLO BROOKYLN.

In one of the newspapers it said many locals believed Tumbleweed was haunted. I haven't checked it out yet.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Well, according to the games social club website...I've played this game for 23:48 hours, and have only completed 32.8%.
The amount of stuff to do is staggering....I'll decide sometimes to only go for the challenges, then I'll get sidetracked with random mini quests,or just overall exploration.
I honestly cannot remember a time when a game has totally immersed me into the world,so much so that I care about the characters, even in the side quest stuff.
Hell,I'm not even into Mexico yet,and don't mind a damn bit....this is one game that I seriously don't want to end. Hopefully R* embraces this title with some really nice DLC.
People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Well if you go to Tesoro Azul and finish that and Tumbleweed, you get the evil spirits achivement so maybe its there.
Also go to the mansion in Tumbleweed at 6 in the morning (or maybe night) and look at the roof.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment
