Made it to Mexico last night, i'm liking it...I cant wait til I unlock the north.

How many missions does it take to get the north unlocked?

you do if you hitch it at one of your safehouses.

That only saves it for when you're loading a saved game. If the horse dies, you'll have to load the last save to get it back, or else own the deed. I personally bought the deed to my horse so that if it gets jumped by a mountain lion (which already happened once) I don't have to load a saved game to get it back.

The deeds for the top tier horses (including the stallion you get from the Bonnie mission) unlock at the shop only after you've broken that type of horse. So you have access to one of the good horses after doing the horse breaking mission.

Also, someone mentioned the achievement. That's for breaking all three top tier horses, not just one.

just go hunting 1 game night and kill everything you find.. get enough stuff you can break a couple thousand easy..

It all depends on where you are. I had to go back to Mexico to finish the Daledus and Son side quest.

Once I start playing this, I can't put it down. I started playing around 9 last night, next thing I know it's almost 1:30. The hunting challenges are pretty fun, I didn't expect that.


I'm still early in the SP but I go to the part where...

Where you run to the barn to save someone and the man is hanging there naked, pretty crazy. Has anyone done the mission where you are trying to find the ****** son and you come up to some blood and a shoe? It said that story would continue you later on right?

I'm having trouble paying off my bounty. I go to the spot on the map but when i get there, I don't see a way to pay it off. Unless I'm going there at the wrong time of day. Also, when do the trains usually leave? I am trying to put a guy on a train track to get ran over.

btw, MP is becoming less and less fun. i guess its time to find 20-25 friends who I can play with on a regular basis. free roam is terrible and boring for the most part.

What did you expect though? A public Free Roam in GTA IV was the same way. You could do a private it one if you just want to mess around.

Ya that story and other side missions have parts following it later on. I just look at the map or minimap for the purple ? . I think its all random of when you start the next part for that specific log. If you look in your Journal under Strangers it'll tell you a little description of every objective you've done

Go to the clerk desk, sometimes I had to walk around for the icon to pop up

I love this game, cant stop playing, i had to force myself to go to best last night, so i could make it to work. having a hard time finding the kid.. anyone else get freaked out with the stranger mission of the old man and the flowers, haha, not what i expected

I got off at 2 this morning, and played until 430. Game has me hooked. I love it. Most of the time, I was just bounty hunting, hunting, or just riding the land. Just bought some of the maps so I can find the settelements, etc. Are Bonnie's missions the ones you must complete to get to Mexico? Or Seths? Or mix of both? I just want to get up to Tall Trees.

It's so much fun just hunting or doing a bounty... I'm not far along at all in SP and I can't put it down.

I haven't enjoyed a SP game this much in a long, long time. The last SP game I beat was MW2 and that's because I had it early and no one was online, before that... I don't know. I didn't even finish Batman and I really enjoyed that game.

Red Dead is just a great experience.

I found a fun way to do free roam last night.

Go to the Presidio fort when you have a wanted level with a few friends. Use the cannons and Gatling guns to hold off the entire army

Funny, but not. Just like the "cougar man" and "donkey lady" vids-------funny stuff, but at the same time, major glitches that should be addressed soon.
