I might have to try that. I'm getting familiar with landscape now where I don't really use the waypoint system much anymore unless its a new location.

Plants would be crazy to find that way too, haha.

So, the shooting/marksman challenges are those random? I'm not talking about the ones in your journal, but the ones where you come up on a guy and he challenges you. I did one a couple hours into the game, but my rifle ran out of bullets and I haven't seen anymore since.

I'm currently running around on foot in Gaptooth Ridge looking for two more things of Desert Sage. And by that I mean...I am running in zig-zag patterns over every bush to see if it'll let me pick it.

And I thought I was pretty good with the landscape too....then I turned the map off and ended up going in circles for twenty minutes because I kept getting turned around by the challenges.

It'd be funny if one of the outfits was a "flower picker" dress, haha.

Anyway, I had a couple cougars come at me while I was riding out to a bounty yesterday. One ****ing basically one hit killed my horse, so I got out my knife and slashed em both to hell. Now I have to break another horse.

I swear, I've had more cougars come up to me this time, on my second playthrough, when I'm walking around trying to collect flowers than my entire 27 hours I played through the first time.

It's like they see me in the distance and go: "Look at this fruity-Outlaw picking flowers by himself. Let's go ****ing eat him."

            Re: Red Dead Redemption

You've already beat it? lol Damn. I just met Seth last night, haha.

But then again, I like to spend an hour or two hunting when I play. It reminds me of playing Oregon Trail in a weird way.

Anyway, I will say this about the game thus far. The story is definitely more inviting, immersible, and develops its characters and relationships a lot better than GTAIV.

I'm so stupid. 24 hours of playtime into this game and I just realized That I have the war horse code on the backside of the insert that came with the game.

Yeah I don't remember that song being played when I got to Mexico... and I definitely would have remembered it.

Come to think of it, I've yet to hear any songs with words in them, it's all just been ambient music, for either chases and whatnot or just riding through the country.

So in the sharpshooter challenge it says I gotta shoot two hats of people. Is this only in a "duel" or just any gun fight? Do I have to use dead eye?

Finally found the spot where all the wolves are! It was hysterical, killing one and then they keep charging at me and my knife. Almost bit it a few times. Once I got my 5 with the knife it was shooting time.

Very cool how the wolves behaved. They would run at you and if you got a piece of them they'd run away. They did not fight til death. And the pack would circle me and keep making charges at me. Once they got a hold of you they tried to tear you apart and again if you shook 'em off they ran. The more I killed the more aggressive they became.

Just another awesome little drop in the bucket of win that is RDR.

This game is Great, even before the ending...wasn't big on Westerns, but now they've got my attention, Thanks RDR

Enough to do in this game that I could spend the 1st month of summer occupied. UFC gets in 2morrow, and still might not get opened until next week.
