Ah I remember Oregon Trail, good times good times.
i was actually playing Oregon trail a couple weeks ago. They could probably re-envision that game and do pretty well.

Got in a good round of "Karateka" too.

Cant wait to get this game, waiting for the gamefly to come. It shipped Monday, hopefully it comes tomorrow.

              Playing SP last night..

..some guy was beating up on a woman on the side of the road so I jumped off Ol' Reliable and sprang into action. I pushed the guy off her and continued to kick him while he was on the floor. After about 7 kicks he stopped moving so I start chasing the girl to see where she was running off too, but never caught up to her.

I whistle for my horse and turn my head to respond to an IM I got on my PC(in real life), and I hear 2 gunshots..I look back at the screen and I'm dead. The guy who I kicked the **** out of apparently wasn't out for the count, he played dead, waited for me to turn my back and followed me on foot for at least 2 miles..coward.

Lol no kidding, I remember playing this on our old iMac's during grade's 3-5, so much fun. Anyway, I have a little question about this game, is this game kind of like a Fable where the town will interact with whats happening in real time? Like if it's night time, will people be in their houses sleeping?

Haven't seen people sleeping really, I was in Armadillo at 2 a.m. and people were just out and about.

I think stores are closed at night, and certain challenges have to be completed during the day (well, 1 challenge that I can think of), but other than that the towns are pretty well populated at night.

I'm right behind you in line. After I said I was done last night, I sat down at the table in Thieves Landing. I was on a rush. I beat that table too.

The last guy was super tight. He was down to his final $25 and he raised pre-flop. He folded to my raise post flop.

The one thing that I do like about the poker is you can really read their strategies. Who bluffs, who plays tight, who is aggressive. It's fun to use real life strategies against them.

Thanks for the replies, I'm pretty much going to get this game now. I've always wanted a game where it was just open world. Sucks because I just bought Skate 3 on the release day so now I gotta wait awhile to get this game, I've got no money I could try to rent but I'm 100% percent sure all the copies will be gone.

Holy crap, I forgot about that game... I was super excited when I first heard about it but it's been totally off my radar.

I like that era more than the Old West, so if it's even half as cool as this game, I'm gonna lose another 80 hours of my life with that beast.

A few friends and I got on to test the waters last night and I think we were in Blackwater. There's a church there so I went inside and "knelt" at the altar (I used the crouch button).

lol..anyway, my friend is outside laughing at me being in the church praying. He comes up on a guy and kills him right outside of the church. So, I go outside and shoot him in the head for doing the devil's work in the vicinity of a church...lol

                                59 wolf pelts?!

I tried skinning a wolf once only to be mauled to death by a bunch more of them. Since then, I've been scared of them.
