No bounty. I'm a goodie two shoes.

Maybe it's a gang? It's just weird that they don't show up as enemies on radar. And you can kill about 20-30 of 'em. And they'll respawn in a few minutes. The rest of the town leaves me alone. I swear it feels like a glitch.

The first time I was like WTF why is everyone just shooting at me.

Speaking of glitches... I swear I had done the little side mission in Armadillo where the old man comes running and said he was robbed, you track him down and bring him back and he says he will get a little Armadillo justice.

Don't get me wrong fact that you can pretty much do anything you want at any moment, but I wish the story/mission would be a bit more linear. It's kind of hard for me to follow what's going on. Other than that, this game has been great!

Why do I get ambushed every time I ride into Thieves landing. I mean they come out of the buildings just shooting at me. The thing is, they don't even show up as red on the radar. They just attack me. I've killed a 100 dudes there.

I've been randomly attacked in Thieves Landing a few times, had no bounty on my head or anything. I'll walk into town and some guy will just start shooting at me for no good reason.
But it doesn't happen to me everytime I go there.

I've yet to have that happen to me in Thieves Landing, at least I don't think so. I haven't been there to many times though.

Same exact issue. No bounty, I didnt kill anyone, no robbing, or anything. I can just be walking around and all these dudes just start randomly shooting at me. It looks like they are the Bollard Twins Gang, the weird thing is their outfit is my current outfit. It has to be a glitch or something, because it happens quite often. The last 4-5 times I've gone to Thieves Landing I get ambushed with no red dots.

And Dookie I've done that too. I have tracked down a robber in Armadillo at least 3 times now. A lot of little random encounters will repeat themselves.

On the mission early in the game where you run across Bill Williamson and his goons, does Bill just run away after he orders them to attack? I wish I could've popped a cap in his dome and then we could roll the credits.

Happened to me as well. I think that part of it could be your honor/fame, or maybe some of the bounties you have done, or even a mission. It's hard to tell. I don't think it is a glitch though. I mean, you are [I]Thieves[I] Landing. I am a good character as well and it happened, same with a friend of mine. Doesn't happen to me any more though.

Yeah I'm assuming he either runs or stays in the back and once he notices his boys are getting their *** kicked then he takes off.

Are these horses better than the war horse. I havent really found a horse that was better than the war horse.

I think the war horse is supposed to be the best horse in the game.

Just burned 20 minutes looking for the damn thing to no avail. I have the Kentucky Saddler, which is just as fast I guess, but an all black horse sounds awesome.

According to the Red Dead Wiki, the Kentucky Saddler is the most balanced of the three top horses. The Hungarian has highest stamina but lowest speed, and American Standardbred is the fastest of the three but with the lowest stamina. Plus it looks kickass

Im trying to get the achievement for breaking all three of the star horses. Ive found and broken the Kentucky Saddler, and the American Standardbreed...but I cant find the Hungarian Half Breed anywhere

It's the all white horse in Mexico. You break it with one of the stranger quest in Mexico.

Just got the Legend of the West outfit last night. I still like the duster better.

did you buy it at thieves landing (if you are honorable) or another location (if dishonorable) as honor gets you that horse (everything) for half price in everywhere but thieves landing and dishonor a discount in thieves landing.

I only paid $750

Aside from occasional ventures of evil, I've been Mr. Goody Twoshoes.

I only paid $450 in Blackwater.

I've gotten to the end just about. Dutch just commited suicide and now I'm an honest to goodness rancher with a wife and kid. Doing missions like teaching Jack to track elk and killing crows. I have a really bad feeling about this. Just can't see this ending well.
