So I was riding to Amarillo and I see this guy running out of nowhere asking for a ride back. Knowing my dumb***, I thought I was being nice and was going to give him a ride back only to have him try to horsejack me and take off. I whistle for my Horse while he is on him and he falls off so I pull out my rifle and give him a few shots before I put him in his misery...and also take whatever he has in his pockets of course lol.

Cool thanks mate, i haven't seen many top hats around so i'll have to keep an eye out.

I also found if you can aim well enough, shooting the brim or sides of the hats work, I did it on accident my first time but tried it the second time where it worked once again. This sharpshooting one actually took me a while also because I was never sure if you had to get it in just duel mode or whenever.

I am on a mission to find the American Standardbred. I just finished Mexico and am roaming around Great Plains trying to find this horse. I refuse to do anything else in this game until I find this horse.

Another way this game just works so much better than GTA is the wide open spaces lend itself better to actually doing some bad deeds and getting away with it.

Kinda hard to get away with much in a crowded city in GTA4 (and rightfully so) but it gives you much more freedom to do your thing and usually there is only 1 or 2 witnesses at most so you can usually chase them down without getting heat from the law every time.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get a sniper rifle while still in the first area? A sniper rifle would be awesome in this game, lots of stealth / long range options to be had.

For someone who doesn't seem to like this game very much u sure do seem to play it a lot. Haha... My bad if u do like it... Just seems like some of ur posts have been negative..

Just wanted to finish it is all. It's a rental and while I get them long as I want can only have one at a time so wanted it finished before tuesday so I could get Blur. It's ok overall.

The one I found was in the tall tree area. Around where the last real mission takes place.

Just burned 20 minutes looking for the damn thing to no avail. I have the Kentucky Saddler, which is just as fast I guess, but an all black horse sounds awesome.

Dutch is dead and I'm back at the ranch with my family doing farm work. I would imagine something else big is going to happen (don't tell me!) or this is a weird way to end a story.

Ok got the game finally from Amazon last night.

Question for anyone that ordered from them, where is the code for the golden guns? I dont see it...

I have to say this game is amazing so far and I only played for maybe a hour. Cant wait for the weekend to really get into it.

Why do I get ambushed every time I ride into Thieves landing. I mean they come out of the buildings just shooting at me. The thing is, they don't even show up as red on the radar. They just attack me. I've killed a 100 dudes there.

Did u kill anyone, like a dude trying to rape a woman? I think his posse will come after u if thats the case... It happen to me one time there after i killed the guy
